Scorpio lady here. I've had great chemistry with Cancer though unfortunately both were taken and willing to cheat which is not acceptable to me, and Pisces and I have always had a great attraction though it never worked for us. I find Pisces can't handle my intensity, and they have hurt me because of that. Dare I say my two Pisces relationships were sheer hell. The one Pisces I never moved beyond friends with, we stayed friends for years and loved each other deeply.
Don't rule out Capricorns! I always thought I *needed* to be with a water sign, as that is what I'd been told ever since I got into astrology. I think Capricorns not only can handle us, but they don't do much, if anything, to bring out the sides of us we should probably keep buried.

I just got out of a decade long relationship with one. It should have ended in the first year. They do nothing for Scorpio's mentally. They are fun to us but there lacks passion, mental stimulation, mystery, and my Aquarius was too arrogant for my tastes. We fought constantly for 10 years. Our sex life, imo, really lacked, though he still says I am the best ever. Funny how that works. To me, he was pretty much a dud, it was just sex, the Capricorn I am with now actually stares deep into my eyes and makes love to me on so many levels, it is heavenly. Aquas and Scorps just don't go well together even though they might have a lot of common interests and fun together. They are just not even close to being on the same level.

I don't feel it's familial, we have similarities but just the right differences to make it interesting.
It's a bit of cat and mouse with Male fish.
Throw in a few fights, then the make up.
Very passionate and intense. Could be my fire that ignites our jousting.
I had this with my doorman.
We were not a couple but we fought like one.
He wanted to date me, I did not.
Then he pushed through my stubbornness and made a gesture to make up.

I would agree to an extent with DeeGee. There's some nice, pleasant, positive Cancers here. I'm sure if I read the Cancer board I'd see more of that positivity.

most of the Cancers I know are not truth seekers,

I think the self-deprecating and sarcastic nature of my original replies have been severely obfuscated.
All one has to do is read posts by the Scorp guys that post here to realize there is really no standard box we can be put into. We all have different personalities. So for me to give you a list of negative qualities of Scorpio men would be "Cat Lady Astrology".
And what is mean by that is the ridiculous garbage you read online that insists that all Sign A men possess qualities X, Y, and Z, and they all act like 1, 2, and 3.
