Desperately seeking advice

Hi, I'm a virgo gal in need of some advice. For a few months I've been dating a scorpio man, we had a wonderful time, laughed talked etc. He opened up to me so much. However, I was always hesitant, I didn't want to meet right a way, but he always kept on. When we finally met, sparks flew. It was magic, we laughed as if we knew each other for years. After sometime, we started sleeping together. It was amazing, he was everything I could've imagined. After a while he got a little distant, that was OK he is going through some personal stuff, which he has confined into me. Our paths and time in life grew difficult for us to have a relationship, so we both agreed to fwb. At first I was OK, we told each other not to fall in love, but I did. Last week we had plans to go out, and be together. But he called it off, and I was fine. He had an explanation, and we talked for a while he confined in me about his ex, and his situation with his kids. How she was, etc. He mumbled something that sounded like he loved me. So, we made plans for us to go out the next night. We'll, that came and he never texted me all day. Around 7pm I finally texted, no go? He said sorry, he was helping his son. Ok, fine I was cool with that, but I got mad because he never told me. He said it was last minute, I said fine, still could've told me. So, the next day I told him this wasn't going to work. I'm not fwb material, and I can't do this. He was like, OK if you want ill stop texting you, best of luck. A few days latter, I broke down in tears because I felt as if I lost him. I fell deeply in love and texted him that. I said I have never felt this way before, and I have never loved anyone as much as I did him and always will. After that, I heard nothing. Did I blow it big-time? It's been almost a week since we broke up, and he has made no effort to contact me. Is it over?
