Geminis and Scorpios?

Okay, so I'm new (don't judge the username, all I could come up with, lol) and I have a question. 🙂 I really like this Gemini guy, but he seems to joke about serious matters, which I don't really like. I've known him for about a year, and I finally opened up to him, which led to me telling him something important. He, jokingly, brought it up in public. Are Geminis known for this? If so, I need to end this now (I was embarrassed and upset, not because it was embarrassing, but because it was personal and I trust(ed) him. New to astrology and wondering.

@DazedScorp; Lol, I will. @SultrySultana; The thing is, I'm not too serious, despite my chart. I'm very fun and I love joking, but I thought this was too far. Bringing that up when I was clearly upset when I told him was not cool.

Yeah, the first time I met him, he was funny and I had this attraction to him that was unspoken. But THEN, his mood swings would slap me in the face every once in a while. Not necessarily "mood swings", but personality swings. But I believe both of you when you say that they get pleasure from public humiliation. I was clearly upset and he kept on adding to what he had said. He hadn't said it flat-out, but he said something and then looked for a reaction. I'm pretty good when it comes to controlling emotions, but this guy... He loves emotionally testing people in public. And my dad is a Gemini too... -_-

By the way, he has a Sag. moon and a ton of other planets in Aries (I don't know why, but I don't get along with Aries guys in general).

Definitely. I mean, even though it's been a year, I could feel that the trust between him and I wouldn't grow. This was a small test, actually. And the personal thing I had told him wasn't TOO personal, but personal enough that I wanted it to stay in a small group of friends. Now I know, lol.

Hmmm, ya know I guess I never looked it up before. When I get a chance, I will. I hear what you're saying and there's times Ive thought about it ... but I'm sure there's times she wanted to kick me to the curb too. Ive never yacked her pricacy, ever.. secrets are put in a vault once they reach my ears... but I'm sure I've had her wanting to pull her hair out so it equals out.

She's prob one of the only people I can trust. Feels and seems like an oxymoron saying that, but she gets me and talks me off the proverbial ledges when I get all Cancery and emotional ... pr pissed about something with my Sag moon. I luff her 🙂

Well, I don't have a problem with bringing something to light, but if you trust me with your problems and secrets, it'll be like I never heard about it. Yes, I'll call someone out, but not in public (I hate making scenes and seeing people make scenes); I'll take you aside and talk to you personally. Yes, I have met Scorpios that talk a lot and don't hold secrets, but I've also met the stereotypical Scorps that will take your secret to the grave.

Being the very private people that you are.. if you get thrust into a position that you have to socialise on a daily basis... to get a footing in the new group, there's a chance you'd blab, n in the worst gossipy way too. Or that was what my "friend" did to me.. not when I told her, not when we were in a common group of friends.. but YEARS later (read 5).. to a totally different ass-licking group, and not even to enlighten/educate them in a way that mistakes could happen, but in a way that she felt I did something non-do-able.

And the actual topic was?

I had to visit the consulate for my student visa TWICE (as if, everyone on this earth would get it in the first go!) She not only embarrassed me in the group, she made it seem like a MISTAKE instead of blowing it over, or tell them in a informative way.

After that, I never looked back at her or that friendship. I might still hold her in good regard, but dont like to mingle with her or her group.

One of the reasons why I'm very wary about water signs. They play up every damn thing as if it were a MISTAKE. Its hard to accept them as friends or tell them anything about yourself.

I'm very sorry for your experience. When I have to socialize, and I'm trying to make new friends, I don't talk about others. And I'm sure that all of the Scorpios on here would agree that we aren't perfect; I'm definitely not (and I'm just a young Scorp, still making plenty mistakes). First of all, she should've brought it to your attention and your attention ONLY. Bringing other people into it was unnecessary. And "blabbing" to random people isn't something I do to gain friends or trust... And seeing that she treated you that way, are you sure that you guys were (best) friends? Lol, I see that Scorpios have it bad on DXP. Why?

I told him when it was just him and I, in my room, late at night. I was SURE that he wouldn't tell anyone else or bring it out in public. If I'm with someone in an intimate setting, and I tell them a secret, I'd expect them not to bring it up in front of anyone else.
Also, it was my first time telling him something "personal", so you know... And the secret wasn't about someone or someone else's situation, it was about ME. NO reason to confront anyone with this information.

Yes, you must state that what you are about to share is to be kept a secret. It's natural for a Scorp to assume that conversations are private, but not as natural for a Gem.

And it doesn't hurt to remind him from time to time that it's still a secret, so he doesn't think some statute of limitations has run out on telling it. No, I'm not kidding.

your gemini man is behaving this way because he is bored, but this, or any other reason does not serve as an excuse for his behavior. i would say that if you are looking or hoping that the relationship will survive, then what you would really hope for is that this dude learns some self-control.

OKAY, okay, I'll tell you!
It was about my dad.

He was a murderer... He broke into my neighbor's house and murdered them because they were cooking spaghetti. I've tried to hide this, but I needed to tell someone who I felt was trustworthy. I think I feel better now that it's out in the open. Thank you guys so much, for allowing me to lift that heavy burden off of my crippled heart.
