He has a Venus in Scorpio... should I be scared?

Well no and yes I guess , also depends on moon and mars combo and other aspects but in general venus in scorpio is just hard to figure out . The stinger might come out once he feels betrayed or in any way unsure about your intentions . I think we do have a self-destructive tendency in love matters sometimes and spend toooo much time overthinking situations and moments . But in general I think just with every venus placement if you're motives are true and sincere , why would he need to protect himself ?

They're tricky. I dated a girl with a Venus in Scorpio. Aside from the fact that she had a super confusing placement with her Libra Sun/Aries Moon, she definitely showed some paranoia and obsessive behavior. Part of the paranoia could be from her Aries Moon, but I could also tell from our conversations that she needed either to get under my skin to figure me out (mind you she wouldn't let me do this back, not saying I wanted to) or needed to see the relationship at it's darkest.

Having had way too many dealings with Scorpios, the best thing to do with this placement is to be consistent. You don't need to follow them into the darkness, just be real with them. Scorpios like knowing all of your secrets, but don't want you to know too many of theirs, until they trust you at least (and even then). Some are drawn to darkness and can get BURNED. Somewhere deep down they know this. The emotional highs and lows can be attractive to them in the short term, but unless there is some stability, they'll never be able to leave those who are most loyal to them. Also NEVER BETRAY HIS TRUST! Be honest always.
As a Virgo Sun, I'm going to assume he's going to be a bit paranoid in love with his Scorpio in Venus. His emotions will run deep as well. He's going to NEED to see consistency from you. He's going to want to know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are loyal to him. You may find yourself initiating quite a bit too. He may create a mess just to see what you do with it. This holds true. it depends on where it lands. If a venus in Scorpio lands in Virgo then it's not too bad.. if it lands on sag n libra .. it struggles... love turns into power game play and manipulation... thanks but no thanks.
