Although, I'd take aqua man in a heart beat, I've come to terms with things are going to happen the way they ended up happening and its more time effective to just focus on life and the activities within it. If it happens it happens.
So I was out with friends (and friends of friends) last night - 4 Women (Me) and 7 Men. We're all around late 20's mid to late 30's. A mix of your stereotypical nerds, geeks, jocks, or charismatic men. We went to a restaurant for taco tuesday and then to a bistro for coffee.
I had a good time. I did notice that there were two cute guys that I've never seen before there. One caught my eye more than the other. I come to find out that he's a college professor. He teaches courses in the "science" field.
We hardly were able to talk because I was at the end of the booth and he was near the other side of it. When I could hear the conversation him and others were in I joined, but mostly listened. Plus I was also busy talking to the friends that were around me. Afterwards half the group left, while the remaining 7 of us went to a bistory for coffee (5 guys, me and another female). I ended up sitting next to professor guy and although one of the males dominated most of the conversation with him, I again chimed in when necessary. One of the guys he didn't know added him on FB (they spoke about it at the bistro), so since it notified me on FB...I ended up adding him too few hours later after I had gotten home.
I didn't notice becuase I was busy catching up on shows on my DVR but I noticed he messaged me saying it was fun seeing me. I said thank you...he then said the hat that I am wearing in my FB photo was nice and we bantered for like 5-10 before I told him I had to go as it was late and I had work in the morning.
Anyway, I'm not thinking too much about it...I'm mostly kind of relieved that someone else finally piqued my interest!
Not sure what I'm going to do next if anything, but we shall see.
