how alluring is a scorpio?

I guess I'm asking this only because I've been single for years and I am a scorpio. And it seems everyone says such great things about scorpios, and how passionate they are.. however I am one of the loneliest person in the world.. and it depresses me. The scorpion in me won't allow me to settle for second best, but the desperation for me to find someone is making me feel helpless.. I know I can't live without having affection, and being alone isn't helping me at all.

Oh boy can I sympathize with you, all the way. I'm the same...Scorpio...alone...sickened by the thought of remaining that way, but sickened by the thought of "going for" someone who isn't the right one. How long have you been single, if you don't mind me asking? This is one of the worst holiday seasons I've ever had, I can't believe it. Everything is falling apart, at least in a romantic sense. Or, let me rephrase: it already has.
