How do I carry on a conversation with a Scorpio?

I met this Scorpio guy on an online dating site. He's polite, reserved and shy. We have a lot in common but man, it seems like we're always struggling to continue the conversation. I know Scorpios don't like to be asked a lot of personal questions, but I don't know how to build rapport. Plus we live in different countries so it's not like we can meet up or anything. I think he's kind of cute. How do I build a connection? I need specifics. :/ or maybe we aren't very compatible at all?

Ok online dating site! Don't have experience in that...

Since he is a shy guy u can never be 100% sure about his feelings...if u are really interested in him...make effort...have phone convos coz u can talk about random things which may sound irrelevant while chatting...share about your personal life and make him open up to u...if it ticks u won't have to make efforts later...he will do that for u

its very early to comment whether u guys are incompatible

just keep it going until he will finally find an interesting subject to talk too.

I'm scorpio myself, I don't really start a conversation until you suddenly hit it off with amazing/silly subject to talk with 🙂

Hahaha I don't know, man. But I know he's trying too. He'll send me videos recommending classical music to me, or try introducing some new subject. I think it might be the same on his end lol. What are some examples of interesting subjects? Or is it really different for each Scorpio? ?
