I don't get this

If hate is subjective, then there is really no point in labeling a person good or bad. Should we not hate a person at all because the way he is?

Good point .... I think most of us have a need to label things and people in our lives, to sort of gain more clarity on where we stand ourselves in this world. So when we label someone good or bad it's often in comparison to our personal stand. You're good if you're in agreement with my flow and bad if you're not. I say if any labeling has to be done, it's should be compared to that person's own nature and not compared to others. At least it would be fair.

I have intense dislike towards certain people mainly because I have the power to see through some people's intentions. But I do not know whether it is only my perception or reality is really so, and whether or not it is really fair for me to do this towards that person.

Not everything is spoken outright and obvious for everyone to see........

But if someone hates me, I would not hide and pretend nothing happens. I would confront them about it and resolve the issue.

I won't hide simply because I don't hide from anyone, however I won't try to gain the love of someone who hates me. I won't confront them, I don't see a reason why I should. Love and Hate can be quite alike in ways, as the same way one doesn't necessarily need a reason to love you, they don't necessarily need one to hate you either. I don't feel the need to love everyone or spend time on people who hates me, it's time wasted for me. I rather invest that time on my love ones. As long as my haters don't cross me, they'll have a good life, as I won't be in it. You can't make someone love you. It's not an issue, therefore doesn't need to be resolved.

Yep .. every opinion people make, or judgement, is based on their own standards and values of how they veiw themselves .... and unfortunately, they aren't basing this off of the other person as it's suppose to be done.

For this reason, I don't believe in the old addage .... Treat others how you would want to be treated ....

It's in the nature of society to have rules and norms, otherwise you couldn't defined that society. I just think dealing with people, one should assess the individual as one person, individually rather than as part of a unit. So basically as an example ... Mike Anderson the musician is not necessarily a looser or a bad person because he doesn't want to be a lawyer like the rest of the Andersons. If you look at him for the individual that he is, you'll see the good in him. You'll only see bad ... if you compare him to his family ( The Andersons ).

i always think that if you have the energy to hate someone or even intensely dislike them - you also have the ability to love them or like them a whole lot!

you think about if someone pisses you off. if you go on to just brush it off and ignore it, then you really have no feelings for the person at all. if you become aggrieved about them pissing you off, it would appear that actually, there is something in that person that you kinda like or respect or similar.

all the people i've ended up disliking intensely were initially people i liked a whole lot that let me down or pissed me off.

what i really don't understand is the bigotry kind of hate. how humans can actively hate another race of people for ancestral and historical reasons but not through direct experience of any wrong doing from that particular race.

that is the kind of hate that is wrong and will eventually destroy mankind.

There are "Evil" people in this world - a lot of them!
It would be stupid to think that there isnt.
