aka People Are WEIIRDDDD

Jumped back on the dating site, since my Tau decided I'm not worth his time. One guy has been laying it on thick, flattery, sweet, anyway enough to get me to respond. So I ask him what his birthday is.. he wont tell me. Like I'm going to use it against him. — I let it go. I'll find out soon enough. Adds me on facebook. Okay, so supposedly he's a Libra (he put in his bday on okcupid as a Sept Libra, the site calculates your sign for you) but according to FB he's a Virgo. So, his only picture on fb is of a very nicely built guy's chest. Instantly suspect. So we're talking about horses, he sounds like a freaking girl (text) "OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOOOOVEE horses!!!!!!! OMG!" *raises eyebrow* and so anyway I ask him if he has a face (jokingly, with the lol) and wham! "that wasn't very nice, good bye" wtf—

I'm kind of thinking this IS a 15 year old chick who's just using the dating site for fun or something. Why on earth would someone be SO paranoid about his birthday AND showing me a picture if he honestly wanted to date me?

SMH. Bizarre.

I would be catious only becuase his profile pic you said is just a pic of his chest, why not show your face also he sounds kinda suspect Lol.........

Haha yeah I wouldn't trust a guy who just had a chest shot. My first thought is "he's probably ugly in the face", my second is "wow, he must really not value himself if he's putting up a pic that says he only sees himself as a piece of meat." No thanks. Find someone who respects themselves and isn't self conscious about showing their face

Online dating works sometimes...

that's what I hear from the commercials anyhow, but think about it...

Do you really think you can meet quality through wires and a screen—

Computers are machines!!!!!! Do people really think you can just "shop" for love online??

It has to happen "organically" HUMANLY....heart to heart...

Every online date I went on was a disaster....that's why The Batchelor never works (once or twice and that was the exception)its too "manufactured", "fake", you cannot manufacture dates and love..

I've actually gone one two really good online dates. People I still talk to in my life and they are both really great men. Good looking, going to college. Ones a model, the other is going be working as a chemical engineer. Mmm mm.

But those are isolated cases. I personally don't think online dating should be anyones first route. It was more of just a silly little think I tried via facebook and I just happened to get lucky twice. I suppose if work and meeting guys through friends is the only option you have then by all means click away. There's nothing wrong with it. There are just a lil more surprised involved ;P
