love/hate/confusion for Scorpio man

Last new years I spent the night with some friends and a male Scorpio in particular. We ended up kissing a little but nothing serious. In the next few days he texted me daily then eventually asked what the kiss meant. At the time I had just gone through a bad break up so I wasn't ready for anything but still we randomly would hangout over the next few months and got to know each other more. Eventually I gained feelings for him but we never talked about our feelings again. Since last march I've thought of him daily even when going months without seeing each other. I finally saw him for the first time in a long time 3 weeks ago and he avoided me at first then when we did finally talk he lashed out at me and told me how much I hurt him. When I tried to talk about my feelings to him he legitimately ran. How do I fix this? And make him not hate me. He's a Scorpio sun/aries moon/Scorpio Venus btw
