Not feeling it or part of the plan part two.

This starts a pattern where we don't text or talk for about a month then he sends a hi text and we test for a little a d that's it. I have made an attempt to hang out again by saying what are u doing this weekend and he has simply said he had plans. So on v day I sent him a gift and after about a month of not speaking he texted me that he loved it. As of now we are still undergoing this pattern.Its been about two weeks then 3 days ago I get a text saying what's up and I reply then we text for a little bit and that's it. Whats the deal?? I have admitted to him that I liked him and am confused by him and asked if he liked me. He said he thought so and that I too an different but irk if he still feels that way. It seems I like to communicate way more than him and I feel Like I am tired of putting myself out there and not having hear some type of confirmation. Is he interested or just thinks of me as someone to associate with? Also did I mess up that first time I was not able to hang out with him and didn't tell him I couldn't make it? Does he want me to chase him? Sorry about the multiple posts.

You can reply to your own post without creating a new one. I know that your post can be cut off at a certain point so it looks like you have to start a new one, but you can just continue in the same thread as the one you originally created.
