actually, i'm taking a positive spin on a whole load of shit these past few months - not to mention losing my job just before christmas. it was only a contract job and they couldn't afford to extend it. i did write a book for them though. not an interesting one by any means unless you have alot of money to buy investment property, but still...beats the usual grind.

I may lose my job as well - planning to go back to farming afterwards.

i had to write these series of guides on various countries gaurav and one was india. was a fascinating economy. i haven't really kept in touch with events since december but generally speaking, india is going to be one of the financial superpowers by 2050 and all the experts agree with that. i get so anal about things but it was sooooo interesting and i was gutted to lose the job 😢

anyhow, my youngest brother is a software engineer in london and he has been told it will be unlikely they will renew his contract in april and so he's thinking about a total turnaround in what he does too.

this is why these things happen gaurav and this is what has given me the focus for a particular project.

we only get one shot in life which is such an over-used cliche as to almost being rendered meaningless but you HAVE to do the things that make you happy and to the same degree, it has to be something that puts food on the table too.

the recesssion is actually a great opportunity and we have to be positive about it because the clever people become really rich during these times. i saw it all happen when i was working with merrill lynch during the 'crash' of 1987 and the subsequent slump which went into the early 90s.

millionaires were made during those times and mostly they were driven as a result of being made redundant and suchlike.

now is the best time to think outside the box 🙂

nothing wrong with farming - we need to go back to basics... manufacturing and stuff, will suppliment real tangible with the intangible bubble we've been living on that just burst

yeah. farming is awesome gaurav!! the spanish farmers have a lovely life style . i hate that we are having such unusually bad weather right now though cos i'm sure it gives them sleepless nights if they are crop farmers. where would you farm? livestock or agriculture?

hey DK! there is this group of farmhands that go all over the world and help out on mostly eco-friendly farms. the ones i heard of are from new zealand and they come from an organisation called WWOOF - willing workers on organic farms. they get accommodation and a small income while they work on the farms. it's a great thing to do if you have no responsibilities.

If I win millions in lottory I 'll buy some agricultural machines for some poor farmers.
or I pay them to keep their animals in a more friendly way.
or I 'll buy some people environment supporting wares which are usually expensive for average people. like machines for refreshing the used water.
or solar cell based devices.
