Anything in particular about Florida .. ?
I've been there several times and have spent quite a bit of time there .. I do like the Gulf side better then the Eastern Atlantic side. I really liked the beaches down in Naples.
For me ..
I really like it out in Arizona, huge wide open sun filled skies, the sun sets, the huge starry skied nights.
I really love the Grand Canyon, truly amazing.

O_O
Hmm... this is an interesting question for me so I suppose I will answer. How ironic is it that no "place" calls to me as a home. I haven't found a place where I want to fully and forever reside in.
I feel most calm, at peace, when I am on the open road traveling itself. I feel free. There are no thoughts, no confinements, just peace. Full peace and an inner calmness that no one place holds for me. I want to live in multiple places. I already have 4 locations in mind, but I don't foresee myself staying there permanently. I know exactly the feeling you describe here, and I feel it when I am driving with no certain destination, just going. When I am especially stressed, this is what I do. I drive. It is the most freeing thing for me. I feel most calm, free and "at home" when I am moving. Nothing to me is as beautiful as the open road.
However, the ugliest thing is being stuck in a traffic jam LOL. so I suppose it depends on timing.
The home where I grew up isn't a place where I would want to reside. I cannot wait to leave and rid myself of it completely. To me it is a box. People grow up here, they live here, they have families here, they die here. I refuse to be one of them.

Very interesting indeed...!!
I feel quite the same way, hence the reason why I am pursuing a driving job that will keep me in the Western region of the U.S.

Anyhow ..Have any of you found a place, when visiting or have traveled to, where you just feel really calm, inner peace, some place that you feel is possibly your calling to go back to or relocate to —
I am pretty sure that I have and finally trying to finish some things up and go there. I was born and raised here in Central Michigan and can say that I'm beyond sick of it here... I really have a deep hatred for our winters.
I hate crowded places , clubbing holidays , drunk people ... I like calm and quiet peaceful preferably no people.
I was in my sanctuary when I'm in the Balkans the mountain region the accursed mountains , the most beautiful place on earth
I sat in those mountains like Jesus on his 40 days except their was no temptation no noise no nothing
I felt like my true self for the first time in many many years
Thank fcuk I have a house there I'm retiring there
LOL
Wasatch mountains of Utah. No place like it.

I don't know why but I'm sensing a theme here .... Lol
Scorpios love mountains :/
I definitely love observing from high in the mountains. .
I come from a "trunked" up dysfunctional family ...
I live in a parents house, but I would never call it a home .. have been here way too long, kinda frustrated it's taken me this long to find where I need to go..
At they very least, it's not too late, and I will continue trying to improve myself and improve as a parent..
