I've been dating a scorpio male for a year. We communicated really well. He was very attentive. One night he lied to me. I can no longer trust him and I refuse to ride his roller coaster of manipulation. Even though I said I was done, we still talked less frequently though. I can't take the up and down so I'm done and I told him that a week ago. I could have been convinced to give him a chance since this was the first time but he refused to apologize or even admit his untruth. Is this typical of Scorpio men?

A lot of astrological profiles assert that Scorpios never admit fault in anything. This is probably not always true.

I would be more concerned about the lying, though. Lies are a big deal.

My mom is an Aquarius and she's friends with ALL of her exes, no matter how wrong she was done by them. I find it so interesting.

Lies are the biggest deal. Awesome guy otherwise... Oh well!

People lie about their age, cheating, background, relationship status, seeing other people, even lie about how they feel about their exes, will admit to it being over but it's not over over.

Some people lie to protect themselves...

It's not a scorpio specific trait. My ex Taurus does it, so does an ex virgo friend....I could go on and on and there's probably an example for every sign.

This is actually somewhat true. And to those who don't understand, just because you still speak to an ex doesn't mean you want them. Are you kidding me? Most aquas see people as humans 1st & foremost. Meaning, just because we are over doesn't mean we can't be civil with each other.

I've done the talking to an ex thing myself. Several times. Hell, I still live with one today. Do I want him? Fuck No! Funny because the absence of feelings makes me even more friendly & chattier than before.

What did he lie about? I dated one that lied about his age but I continued to date him even after I found out. It was no big deal. But, I'm also very aware that sometimes small lies lead to even bigger ones...from experience. I can't fully trust someone with a history of fibbing, but I'm always interested to know if it's habitual or not by closely observing their every word/move.

Someone who is done is done..if he lied about something really important to her.

You have a point though about talking =/= wanting someone back. From how she phrased it and since she is looking into his behavior...I assumed she might want him back. Touche.

But "done" to most aquas usually means the relationship part of it. There are many ways of relating to another person. You were with them for a reason. Maybe you liked their humour etc...now does that mean that should go to waste just because they sucked as a boyfriend/girlfriend? Some of us still appreciate the good things about other people even if we no longer want to be with them romantically. There's always a friendship to be had. With friendship you get to get the "good parts" & little of the bs that comes with having them as a partner. People bring out too much of themselves while in a relationship, but friendships have some restrictions. Crazy ex can become a sane friend.

Btw, she probably does still want him back, but aquas can separate that (the feelings part) in most cases. We can have it both, or one over the other.

I dont care. I cut them off good. Even if the ex comes back to my life by stepping in front of me while visiting my parents (cause they know where my parents live) i still cut them off good.
