I have dated both gem female and gem male. Neither of them worked out (one I'm planning to end soon). I have gem mom, gem brother, and mostly gem friends- it is good for relationships like this; not a romantic one.
Issues: communication and energy level.
Scorps keeps things to themselves. Gems are suspicious that scorps are hiding something, scorps just feel like dealing with things on their own. Gem girlfriend broke up with me because she felt like I lost interest in her and don't like her enough, later tried to get back with me several times...but I turned her down. She is very high bouncy energy and I am fixed water, I can't keep up. Current gem is just completely paranoid and brain can't stop coming up with all the horrible possibilities. Both are very dependent on expressing and talking about their feelings to me, it calms their anxious energy. But at the same time because I work through my feelings on my own they start getting paranoid. Current gem is constantly suspicious that I am seeing other people, questioning why I reschedule meetup by 30 minutes, questioning the people I will be watching movie with. Honestly, I don't think it is very healthy for an air sign to be paranoid and suspicious...they already have trouble putting their brains to rest when it comes to sleep, why put yourself through more restless nights. Even when I tell word for word I am not seeing anyone else it just doesn't assure him. I give up.

He is calling me now. Today he called me to talk about new offer he had gotten and ask my opinion. We talked about that.
Than he asked me if I remember about party he is invited me to.
There was nothing sexual in this conversation. Exceptnje said he missed so much talking to me and I kept silent.
And said ok, bye...
Later he called just to fk my brains with all past we had and I went all out yelled at him that he is not a man but a boy and I don’t give a shit about him hurting people.
And he said...you are right!
I don’t even remember how this ended.

I promise after that you'll understand and you'll do things differently.
It's your issue of being addicted to the dysfunction, wanting to control and manipulate him into being the "good man" you want him to be. Once you figure out the real reason you "need" him a light will turn on.
