Typing Analysis

What Does Your Typing Style Reveal About Your Personality

Typing in lowercase letters is linked to a submissive personality and low energy levels. It may also relate to age and experience, offering insights into personality traits based on typing habits. Understanding these patterns can help interpret personality characteristics through handwriting and typing analysis.

I've read every book I could get my hands on about hand writing analysis. The subject fascinates me as I believe it fascinates all Scorpios to attempt at figuring out people before they know them. I'm currently reading an excellent book on analysing typing and typing forms. I'd like to share some of the content with you all for I believe you would enjoy it as much as I.

According to this book, if you type in lowercase letters you have a submissive personality. It suggests that people who type this way have low energy levels. It is linked to age as well as experiance.

I'll continue to update as I read more.

Of course, the opposite of lowercase would be uppercase typing. Someone who capitolizes properly shows dominance and leadership. Excessive capitolization is an indicator for aggression and abusive tendacies but is only one factor and cannot be proven from this style of typing alone. I have a feeling that people are going to start typing in capitols to prove they are more dominant as they read this.

I thought poor spelling would be a solid indicator for stupidity but it is not part of reading typed words, so far. It says that there are too many variables for spelling to tell you about someone. There are too many reasons why spelling may be poor. I was particularly relieved about this part.

I never thought that spelling mistakes were a way to gage someone's intelligence either. It's sort of like telling someone you have an IQ of 200. I mean I know people who have lower IQs and are pretty much smarter than most people with high IQs. IQ is just a measurement of how fast your brain can process information and spew it back. But if the person can't effectively put that brain power into terms that allow others to understand then what's the point. I mean you're only smart if you can put it to good use in some shape or form. Also it's mostly book smarts without the added street smarts. Now if you can have both then you're a friggin' genius in my books.

Does this annoy you?

-DK09 (I'm kidding)

I know what you mean though. It's probably a habit by the time they get used to doing it though so you can't blame them. To me I just think it's excess. I mean your SN is already posted on the side or wherever it happens to show up in. Just adding that little extra kind of irks me because it's sort of like them telling you you're too stupid to read their name and you need a constant reminder. But other than that if that's what they feel like doing then more power to them. Also there's really no point in complaining on a message board. I mean come on, really. A message board.

REALLY? I FIND THAT TYPING IN CAPS IS FUN! THAT WAY YOU GET A TON OF ATTENTION. AM I GETTING MY POINT ACROSS? IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE I'M ACTUALLY YELLING.

Yes it makes perfect sense. It's odd though because I know several people who actually get used to typing casually that it affects their writing. I'm talking about pen and paper type writing. I know a ton of girls that end their papers with smilies and some of them even include lols and omgz in their work. I mean what the fuck lol. One girl even used internet slang and abbreviations throughout her entire thesis. I mean that's kind of crossing some sort of boundary into the absurd. A lot of kids do that too now. It's actually kind of sad.

"IQ is just a measurement of how fast your brain can process information and spew it back."

That is an incorrect statement. IQ is like a cup or a small mug for some. You have the right theory but anyone who believes IQ is a measurement of speed is not so correct. IQ is a measurement of how much one can store. If you have an averae IQ of aroun 100-110 then you have a cup like a wine glass. If you have an IQ of 200 then you have a 2-gallon jug of milk.

All it really means is potential, though. A wine glass that is full has more liquid than an empty jug of milk if you understand.

yeesh what an effort. People actually employ that typing style . I think it's a desperate effort to be different from everyone else.

For some reason I really like food analogies and this one is up there with the good ones that I've heard. I'm thinking now why can't it be both now since you put it that way. It's a measurement of storage capacity and processing speed. It's something like a gage of how a person can do both. Because what's the point of processing all of that memory if you don't have the speed to do so and what's the point of having all of that storage space if you're not going to use it effectively and efficiently.

All it really means is potential, though. A wine glass that is full has more liquid than an empty jug of milk if you understand.

This I agree with. Maybe the best way to put it is a potential for higher learning capabilities.

In actuality, you are right, however, speed naturally declines after a person reaches his or her 30's. Processing speed is in a slightly different catagory.

And for the Frenchically-challenged:
"yes ! You are the mailman !!"

From this we can safely conclud that TB has lost her damned mind.

Isn't surfing really difficult though? All of those tentacles must be real hard to balance.

Interesting; i never heard of typing analysis, although i did take a handwriting analysis course years ago. That was pretty fascinating! It also had a chapter on criminal analysis. There are certain markers in handwriting that can tell alot about a person's (current) state of mind.

***the three dots are like a pause.... it means you are a deep thinker who likes a lot of space....***

I can definitely see this as being true, as a Libran friend of mine, uses the three dots all the time and he definitely is a deep thinker and loves his space. Interesting.
