The feelings are there the entire time. Most of us just don't know what to do with them. So we attempt to play "hot potato" with them til we figure it out, which becomes similar to a cat at 3:00 a.m.... Waiting until after everyone's gone to bed and then running around all bat shit crazy, *thinking* no one can hear it, but also probably not bothered by the fact that everyone can and does.
