What's your favorite way to hang up on people?

It almost seems like it doesn't matter that much if you preface it or just do it. My Gemini buddy used to tell people "If I hang up, call me back" and never seemed to get a callback. Somehow I get stalked for a few days after a hang up. I think I need some feedback in doing it better.

If I'm pissed, I just hang up.. & Don't answer the call backs..



if the person keeps calling.. I block their number.. Then unblock when I've calmed down.. 🙂

Lol. I do exactly this. Or I'll turn my phone off, instead of blocking their number.

lol! Yea, I'll either block them, turn off my phone, or turn my phone on Airplane mode.. LOL!

I've had one guy go sooo far as to create a "Text free" account to get a fake number so that he could text me that he knew I blocked him.. LOL! Uhhhh.. CLEARLY! lol

Just a hang up, a forcible termination of the call. Malice not necessary. In one of the offices I used to work in I had to warn people I was hanging up on them for things like yelling or cursing. That was actually fun because the more furious they became the calmer I was and felt like I was accomplishing something. The hang ups still stalked me for days, didn't seem to matter if I did angry, professional or long silent pause followed by a sigh and hang up.

Why do so many people want to call you up and yell and curse? I don't have this problem.

They're called customers. They tend to have the occasional issue.

I used to say, "hold on" and then hang up.

depends.. if idc ..i just let them keep talking and walk away from my phone.. then come back like huh and hang up. LOL

I don't hang up on ppl anymore .. I was notorious for doing it back in the day though .. if someone pissed me off I would say something nasty & hang up.. now pissed off or not , I'll stay on the phone & try to talk it out , if there's still anger I say listen , I really don't want to talk about this anymore , I'm going to get off the phone .. the other person says ok , I say ok , then we both say goodbye.. hanging up doesn't do any good at all
