First... I used to believe VinS to be a curse.
The older and more mature I become, I begin to realize the powerful nature it contains.
Yes, It can be possessive and jealous, but so can all other placements. Control those aspects of it, and the loving, loyal, and intense being shows itself in the best of ways.
It's a love worth having. Those who gain its trust are in for a lifetime of love and devotion.
That's beneficial for the recipient, but how does it benefit the bearer?
Venus in Scorp is tapeworm love. It's great for those feeding off of it, but fucked up for the host. 😢

This is my best advice for anyone with VinS...
Yes, VinS can be super possessive and obsessive, but it's also extremely passionate. That's not a bad thing. You have to learn how and where to focus that energy.
You cannot focus all of it on a relationship, because you will drown it.
Find something that you are passionate about in life, and do it on a regular basis. The nature that VinS possesses will focus on that, instead of becoming overbearing in a relationship.
When you're able to do that, the love flows in a natural, non overbearing way.
So Venus in Scorpio can be channeled into things other than relationships? Because I thought Venus was strictly about relationships. If not, that is encouraging.

Methinks Scorpy Venus is like a toddler...it needs to be kept distracted and expressive, or it is a destructive nuisance.
I wonder if that's why yin sun signs do better with Scorp Venus...because their Venus aspects the "planet" of expression (Sun).

Try looking at what house your Venus is in.
My VinS is located in the 5th house.
For it to be happy, I basically need to know that I am admired and wanted by my partner. If I don't get that feeling from them, theh negative traits of VinS start to show themselves. And once they arrive, it's difficult to supress them.
My VinS is in the 9th house. And a Saggie moon.

i quite agree with you. the libras and sags i know with scorp venus are some of the creepiest/emotionally destructive peeps i've ever met, lol.
I agree, I know a sag with this placement and I know that this placement in some sadges can make you psychotic, stalkerish.

Im a bit obsessive, and my sister thinks Im a stalker, but I dont think so lol. I "try" not to do the jealousy thing, but it still happens at times over the smallest things. I find that I get intense flashes of certain emotions.

I'm a cappy with venus in scorpio. I like it usually! I think the scorpio venus warms up the blood in those cold cap veins. Very passionate, very intense. I do have to reign in the scorp venus occasionally. I can get possessive a bit, but the cap logic brings it back to a neutral state of reality. About the extent of stalking is on facebook. If there are insecurities, then the venus rears its ugly side. If I have reassurance, trust and honesty in a relationship, the scorpio venus is just fine and a blessing for an aloof cap. Only the ones on a need-to-know basis know of that passion and sex drive (I've had exes contact me asking to reconnect because they say they miss the passion - who knows if its just a line or not).

That's what it comes down to. Venusian Scorps HAVE to be really demanding, or we get hurt more than any other Venus sign. The guys I get together with, are guys that would be considered clingy, beta or pathetic by anyone else. But I prefer guys like that, who are loving. Never understood the "bad boy"/player appeal.

Awe...I don't think all Sag Suns/Scorp Venuses are nuts. I just personally noticed that the ones I know tend to have the hardest time with their own Scorpy Venus. Same with Libras though, which is my sign.
My Scorp is VinS and he was talking last night and mentioned some future plans he wanted me to do with him and said, "...if we are still together. Wait, f that you aren't going anywhere (jokingly) I don't care, if u try....No. You're mine." Long pause. "I mean that's what restraining orders are for right?"

I don't get the obsession stuff over the past going on though that you guys are bringing . I haven't had that issue. Once something is done, it's over and that's pretty much it. But it also means you're done. Like I don't want to talk to you anymore, ever.
I'm like that, too. Except I can mentally switch them over to the friendzone.
For me, the obsessing happens only when I first get to know a new interest, to figure out their intentions. Once I quit or commit, the obsessing is done.
Except in a healthy, positive way...like about what to get my Aqua for his birthday next week!! 🙂

I think it has to do with me always being "the giver" and the Cap was, sad to say,"the taker"..he's inching towards his mid 30s..becoming more set in his ways, he doesn't want to go out there to meet new women, or face the unknown dating world where trust has to be earned & built, he'd rather be with someone familiar that he trusted & treated him well. Unfortunately for him, that was then this is now.. I'm flattered that he wants to try again, but he had his chance.

I completely disagree that Sagittarius Sun with Venus Scorpio is in any way, shape or form "needy", a "stalker", "Clingy" etc. I'm the exact opposite.

Hmm, my progressed sun and venus are now in Libra/Scorpio and will be for the next 25 years. I think I've got some of that obsessive/eats you up inside conflict. I kinda like it but maybe it's not so strong in a progressed chart. Feels pretty strong though. Natally I'm Leo/Libra with cap moon, so I don't really know what to do with that energy. I guess I have time to learn! :-)

I'm a sag sun-Scorpio Venus- libra rising- Mars Leo and I love my placement. I'm not clingy or stalkerish. In fact I'm not nosey at all because I expect to be treated the same way I treat you. So no going thru my phone, stopping by in announced, or any type of spying what so ever. If I find out you are doing that lind of crap it's an immediate turn off! I feel like running the other way. I need privacy. I can cut a person off like they never existed too and not feel bad about it at all. I also do things with no regrets and rarely feel guilty about things. I will only cut people off if they have hurt me deeply. I'd rather never go thru that pain again and I would never be able to trust them again either so there really is no use of the person sticking around. I am pretty logical so a lot of the craziness that I think up, I wait it out and see how the ending is before making a move too soon. I don't do the whole "foot in mouth" thing that sag' s do. I'm fine with my placement. I also have a lot of confidence and pride. Maybe that helps too.
Venus in Taurus could be compatible more with Venus in Scorpio..more than mutable or air...so VIS more compatible with earth, water, and maybe cardinals..

It's not locked in. It just blends in... i don't really need to control my Venus in Scorpio, since I'm already a Scorpio.
My girlfriend is a Scorpio Sun, Scorpio Venus, Scorpio Mars, ect. She is very calm and is blunt about her feelings but I know that deep inside she is very passionate. I never gotten the "obsessed" feeling but I know one thing that she will not move on to another guy right away.

But it seems that some signs (and individuals indeed, but I do notice patterns) handle and cope with this placement more easily than others.
For example, it seems that Scorpio Venus on Scorpios don't faze them at all. Virgos also seem more discreet with the placement, and can even make it seem smoldering and sexy.
Libra and Sadge Suns seem to handle it the worst. Libras seem to quietly drive themselves insane with it (I should know), whereas Sadges will actually SHOW their Venus Scorpio...in the yuckiest way.
For ALL these observations (which they are, I have no scientific studies on this. lol), I have seen exceptions.
But generally, contrary to the idea that Scorpio Venus on the feminine signs would make them super clingy/whiny, the yin signs (especially Scorpio) are able to control their Scorpio Venus, whereas Libras/Sags tend to let this placement take over sometimes.
