Django Unchained is a Quentin Tarantino film featuring Jamie Foxx, Samuel L Jackson, and Leonardo DiCaprio. It follows a freed slave seeking justice and revenge in the Antebellum South, with themes of violence and redemption. The cast studied various films and prepared intensely for their roles to bring authenticity to this intense story.
Mr. Waltz was a badass in Inglorious Bastards. he is not to be trifled with!

Interesting array of characters.
The movie was freakin fantastic!! Saw it last night and I'd pay to see it again!

I remembered it. I loved that movie lol. He made you want to shoot him lol
right BS74!? i would not have wanted to be jewish around him. especially if i was trying to hide.
me2! she had eyes like Uma. I thought she was going to be more pivotal but it was a ploy to throw us off. i also think the ending was a bit dragged on. i also did not like the way that Waltz died. i understand he had to die, but it seemed forced.
I didn't even get through half of it. I walked out because people were talking too much in the theater.
But, yeah, I have much respect for all of the actors. Shout out to Walton Goggins (Scorp 😛) too.

I remember waltz in that movie. He was extremely evil. Did a great job. He plays the bad guy a lot. In water for elephants he was Reese Witherspoons psycho abusive husband.
Anybody remember the girl in the overseers posse with the red bandana? What was up with her? She seemed so out of place. For a minute I thought he found a way to put Uma in the film.

Lol I noticed that too. I thought it would somehow come down to her and Django. She might have kicked his ass. Brad Pitt was a trip in that moved. I found it fitting that Waltz got branded at the end. I was rolling!

Same here DMV. I was especially made when he killed her family.
My favorite line in the whole movie? When Django opened the door said..."It's me baby." Typical Sag being the hero!

Cant forget Don Johnson is a Sag too. He nailed his part as well.
I didn't know he was in this film. I've been waiting for him to make a comeback.

I think it's safe to say Tarantino loves working with Saggies.

how in the world can we allow this show to go on the air and watch it every week. but we get mad over satire about slavery. 10 baby mamas—??
i swear the pickin and choosin gots to stop. is spike lee mad he didnt write and direct this movie? i also dont get how one can have an opinion on somethin theyve never seen. how can you say a movie is horrible when youve never seen it. defies logic.
i loved the dynamic between SLJ and Leonardo. for a minute, youd think Stephen wasnt a black negro slave. their relationship was special and rare.
yep, and bands make her dance.
omg me 2. him and nicki minaj. as soon as i hear their whack ass intros, i skip to a new song.

I had tears in my eyes from that suit. Looked like a hood Pilgrim. Did you see the socks?!! I loved Kerry Washington too. Honestly, him going after her speaks to relationships on so many levels. I'll come for you and b the hero, but you have to want to be with me.
Oh yes, Leo Dicaprio is yummy.
I will be seeing this movie even though Tarantino is not a choice favorite simply because it is western.

Saggis ran that fucking movie! Scorp gets an honorable mention.
Years ago, I would have said I was going to be the hero or Django, but [Tarantino] took too long to write it," Jackson said. "When he sent it to me, he said read the role of Stephen. I read it and was like, 'Oh, you really want me to be the most despised Negro in cinematic history?' 'Well, yeah.' 'OK, I'm down. Let's do it.' " -Samuel L Jackson
Foxx said that he studied all kinds of films to prepare for "Django," including the works of Clint Eastwood, as well as performances by Denzel Washington in "Glory" and Wesley Snipes in "New Jack City." The result is a film that the Oscar-winning Foxx is immensely proud of — and a world he hopes to return to one day.
DiCaprio has said that he was uncomfortable using the N-word in the film, and told Geist that his co-stars encouraged him to do what was right for the role despite his own feelings. "It was Sam Jackson and Jamie Foxx that said, 'You really have to go all the way with this man.'"
