honestly, most ppl who ride with me believe i am a good driver and are fairly comfortable in the passenger seat. i, however, do not find that this is the case.

what i need, is a big ass truck. ppl are more likely to move out of your way if you're in a truck. i need for ppl to move the hell out of my way.

i cannot sit still. no patience.

i'm a big city girl. get down or lay down.

Yes, i bet they are saying that when you are sitting in the passanger seat with them.

"i cannot sit still. no patience."

One of the basics of driving is to sit, standing isn't recomended so that's why maybe.

"ppl are more likely to move out of your way if you're in a truck. i need for ppl to move the hell out of my way"

Notso, you are supposed to drive ON THE ROAD, not on the side walk.

hehe- they carried out some research on this

http://www.zodiacs4u.com/2007/06/best-and-worst-drivers-by-sun-sign.html

http://www.elsaelsa.com/archives/2006/09/07/the-astrology-of-driving-whos-the-best-driver-in-the-zodiac-whos-the-worst/

http://automotive-insurance.suite101.com/article.cfm/zodiac_auto_insurance_rates

- Scorpios I heard were good at judging emotions so could feel maniac drivers
- Cappy's love the law
- Taurus to stubborn to shake
- Aries quick reaction time
- Libra slow decision-making time
- Pisces and Aqua lost in space-time-continuum
- Gems are just crazy !

Lol, goes on like that - we can all get it wrong...results vary...

My Aqua dad drives like an old lady - won't go out if he thinks roads will not be clear or drive in rough areas. His reaction time's slomo.

My Taurus mom even refuses to get a license - hehe

You'd really have to define "best". To some this would equal safe, to me it means skill in handling a vehicle in many different conditions. Driving at triple digit speeds in pouring down monsoon type rain; that requires skill and constitutes being a good driver...to me. Lane splitting (in a car), using any piece of the road in a race...whatever it takes to win, drifting at triple digit speeds through curves (without wrecking, lol) Probably not what most of you consider a good driver, but much more fun.

Scorpio's have to be the best at road rage though, I even laugh at the antics I used to pull.

Pisces are a bit scary behind the wheel though 😉

Wow, so many comments about pisces on this topic...and i hate to say it but i agree! Every pisces driver that i know (and i know alot) all drive the same....like they are the only ones on the road, the speed limit is 10 miles lower than it actually is and no curbs or sidewalks to worry about. You can look at a car's undercarriage and tell that it is owned by a pisces 😛

Having said that, i am not your typical pisces driver. I was taught/screamed at by an aggro-Aries for many years. He broke me out of those bad habits. hehehe

ive got an Aries mate who drives like an total maniac, like "im here, how dare any of you be on the road"
i genuanely fear for my life when im a passenger in his car, which is why ive become an expert in making up "reasons" why i cant go anywhere with him LOL
I was once brave (or stupid) enough to tackle him head-on about his driving and got the full force of that so-called "Arien Fire"
He's gonna kill himself, or someone else sooner or later, but being a typical Arien, wont listen to anyone coz hes always right!!

"Driving at triple digit speeds in pouring down monsoon type rain"

Pffft, candy from a baby! Going the speed limit in snow...getting to work on time on an interstate that is a solid sheet of ice - THAT is good driving. 😛

"the speed limit is 10 miles lower than it actually is and no curbs or sidewalks to worry about."

LOL! This def. applies to my brother-in-law. But I don't think I've ever driven the speed limit or below in my life. 😛

"Ha! I'd never get into anything with a pisces"

And Pisces everywhere breathe a sigh of relief! Where ya been, cupcake? I've so missed your passive aggressive brand of irrational, sign-specific H8orade based on astrological compatibility. 🙂

"Disclaimer: except my pisces bff...lmao...God, she's nothing like a pisces so I really need to start calling her an aries...cuz that's her basic nature."

Denial, too? Right. The situation is more serious than I ever imagined. And coupled with the seventh-grade usage of "BFF"...I don't know if this one can be saved. What a shame....

Lol, sounds like a challenge. I'm game, we can each drive under those conditions to see if we are capable. Here's a tip...I haven't always lived in Florida...Cleveland, OH...lake effect snow and a ton of fun practicing 180 degree slides into parallel parking, fishtailing all the way down the street. Speed limit on snow...for rookies, at least 15 over or you're just a fish out of water. 😉

"You're on, babycakes. I'll even give you a head start as your biggest competition down there in God's Waiting Room has been retirees."

Lol, funny...not true but funny.

Okay...loser pays for the other's gas. You come down and try your hand at driving in tropical storm conditions next time we get one and I'll come try some of that white stuff whenever winter arrives. If we both pass each other's test then we'll have a tiebreaker; motorcycle riding down here...with the most inconsiderate cell phone talking driving a $ $ holes in the universe.

No head start needed, I don't want you whining about how that's the reason I won, besides I have to let you stay close enough to learn from my technique. Just be sure to get a good look at my front bumper, you won't see it after the race starts. Here's how we race Tampa style ...side by side, three honks...wot on the third honk.

Define safe. Obeying all the traffic laws and not getting into an accident? I suppose on one level. But being able to escape a situation thrust upon you through superior driving skill defines safe and best to me. Being in complete control of your vehicle under any condition is safe to me. It's not difficult to just pay attention and drive the speed limit, accident avoidance maneuvers are another thing entirely.

How often do you hear of top notch race drivers being involved in accidents on a public road?
