Understanding McCain's Political Strategy and Impact

John McCain's campaign focused on targeted messaging and strategic positioning, especially with a female vice-presidential candidate. His efforts aimed to appeal to specific voter groups and gain electoral advantage. Analyzing his tactics helps understand his potential to win and the broader political landscape.

Got to hand it to his operatives. They know what they're doing.

Relatively newcomer and female as the Veep. Yeah, this is directly targeted at Hillary's dispirited supporters.

I don't care for either Obama or McCain, I had supported Hillary Clinton, but the idiot sheep frat boys and angry black people had to pick Obama as the candidate.

I'm definitely supporting McCain in this election, but in 4 years time, hopefully Hillary will run again and get the nod and then i'll vote for her to knock McCain out of office.

God I hope not! I've had all I can stand of morons in the White House. I don't think it's asking too much for the prez to at least know how many friggin' houses he owns.

The pubes are clearly positioning themselves as reformers relying on McCain's maverick image and Palin's whistle-blower past.

Obama is a man without a principle.
Mccain is "another Bush" man.
They both suck.

In all American history, very few presidents deserve respect:

Lincoln, great man before being great president..this how presidents shoyuld be like.
F.Roosevelt, only as excellent strategist.
Carter, fair man who stands for his beliefs without hypocraty or fear.
Clinton, between all monsters lead America in the past, he has a really good heart.

I absolutely agree. So, when can we get started on changing that? I'll whip up a draft on Tuesday. ๐Ÿ˜‰

No problem, GA. Still, I'd like to mention that when I criticise people for their mistakes, they're usually just a symptom of an underlying problem, which is the lack of thought that went into their posts. Some people take themselves less seriously, so the lack of effort on their part is more palatable.

my opinion - which i KNOW you all want - is that McCain's oven chips are by far the best of any available in the deepfreeze section of the mercadona store chain. McCains CRINKLE CUT chips being head and shoulders above their straight cut but they are quite expensive. I'm not sure if McCain's chips contain much potatoe and in fact, they could even be GM modified and completely detrimental to your health.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! I hope you are joking S_R ๐Ÿ™‚ Do you think women are stupid enough to vote for McCain just because he put a woman on his ticket? No way, they will vote for McCain because they want to vote for him, not because of Sarah ... what's her last name again?

Plus, I think Hillary did a good job last week with the speech she gave ๐Ÿ™‚ If her supporters still can't sleep at night then the hell with them. There are more important things to focus on instead of being bitter.

Oh yeah ...

Nope, I know women weren't all her supporters, but I have a feeling that McCain he will capture the hearts of women because he picked a lady to stand by him. LOL, that's so 80s, it was done before with the Dems.

Actaully, there are many women in Michigan (where I live) that feel insulted by McCain at the moment. I'm don't feel anything because I don't know much at Sarah. I do know one thing, that lady is no Hillary ๐Ÿ™‚

Topics like this seem to be in place just to give a person a place to project their opinions in vain.

The President doesn't make policy .. never has and never will .. so, to put any energy into dissecting characteristics, or promises a candidate might make to form a decision on a platform for voting .. is in vain, and is only there to fool people into believing they have a choice between parties, and that they can make a difference.

R/D, I ..... doesn't matter ... the government would have you believe it matters to keep you loyal, and feel like you made a difference .. but, you don't.

..... because the President does NOT make policy, he does NOT raise or cut taxes, he does NOT send troops to war, he does NOT make any decisions on the behalf of our nation, and its people.

CONGRESS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People would put all focus into a wo/man who is a figure-head and completely disregard reforming Congress

"oil drilling Alaska or storing nukes in Yucca Mountain"

::: holds head in despair :::

If drilling in Alaska happens or not .. if nukes are stored in Yucca or not .. is the decision of Congress = Senate & House.

Obama, Clinton, McCain, Mickey Mouse, Yogi Bear ...... whomever is the President of the United States is irrelevant.

"Votes don't count any more haven't you figured that out yet?"

No shit, Sherlock ... what you think I've been bleating on about.

What hasn't been figured out yet, is that you just said what I've been saying .. but, because you have programmed yourself to "believe" what you will .. you think I said the opposite.

Anybody watch the VMA's? (Yeah, me neither), but I did hear about this stupid idiots from the UK who hosted it and he went off on a rant telling everyone to Vote for Obama.

You know what's funny? When I think of Obama supporters, I think of teeny boppers who actually watch MTV. Go figure the entire audience applauded this gay moron supporting Obama. Lord knows it isn't "hip" or "cool" to support McCain.

Losers. How can any adult with any common sense actually support Barack Obama?? This completely boggles my mind. Especially after McCain's speech last week, you'd think people would actually "wake up" and stop voting for Obama just because he's "cooler" and because that's what the media wants you to do.

McCain clearly distanced himself from Bush, so you idiots can't use that "He's just like George Bush" excuse anymore.

And how the hell could people support this Obama when he came completely out of nowhere and has a sketchy/racist past? Considering McCain sacrificed a good portion of his life for OUR country, it shows that this man has a deep love for America. I personally think he's entitled to be President due to what he went through for America. That's who a President should be, someone who sacrificed for the country. He payed his dues, and now we should show our thanks by allowing him to run the country.

I registered to vote today. I'm voting Democrat for Obama/Biden 08/12 for this reason.

1. I want control over my reproductive organs. Another republican in the white house is one step closer to another conservative judge in the supreme court and another step closer to an overturned roe v wade.

2. If Obama gets elected, tax cuts will be directed to individuals that earn under $ 250,000. The 5% of the population who make more than that will be qualified for these cuts because they are considered rich. A category that McSame falls under.

3. The ECONOMY - something that McSame has admitted he knows nothing about.

4. Democrats supports EQUAL pay for EQUAL work for women.

5. The hockey mom isn't going to cut it. McSame likes to repeat these words in his speeches, "radical muslim extremists," and yet he picks a PTA, hockey mom. Yeah, so much for judgement.

Who runs the Republican party? People like Karl Rove, Newt Gangrich, and the evangelicals. The people the put up front like McSame/Failin are STOOGES.

Hypno, Obama doesn't have principles? Please don't speak about something you obviously KNOW NOTHING about.

watch www.thedailyshow.com - watch Friday, Sept 5 FULL episode. You'll love it.
another web site for politics, www.huffingtonpost.com it leans left but they speak the truth. There are links to politico.com and others.

wake up america. They pulled this stunt because they're playing on the stupidity and the apathy of people. Another 4 years under republican rule will kill the middle class in this country.

VOTE: Obama/Biden 08/12

This is the strategy on McSame/Failin.

McBush serves one term, the man is just turned 72 last month. He's had cancer 4 times. If he keels over in the white house, guess who takes over in the white house.

Mooseburger eating, PTA, Hockey mom - no experience just like GWB. Another trained monkey for the right.
