Honestly though, while some eye candy is nice, I do NOT watch football to look at the guys. I really love and appreciate the sport, and that's for real!

Oy, I'm getting so anxious ya'll about our game (USC) against Ohio State this Saturday. It is being hyped BIG time as like a BCS caliber game. I'm always nervous before every game, but sometimes it gets to me!!!! That's what being a fan is I guess! LOL

I'm torn, because I'd want the Pats to win since a fellow Trojan is QB; however, I don't bet with my heart, I bet with common sense. Given the momentum and "Damn You Green Bay" mentality that Brett has been playing with, I'd have to agree with Ferdy and go with the Jets.

i know we have the cheerleaders.....and let me tell u....the dolphins cheerleaders are robots, they cant be real women, f-in perfect, beyond belief. u see girls that are hot and no......not even close. real life barbie dolls..........🙂

Most of the experts and analysts are saying Jets but I'll be putting my money on the Patriots. That defense is still a force to be reckoned with. And if Belichick's system truly is the reason why Tom Brady thrived in their offense Matt Cassel will do just fine. Expect a steady dose of short passes and screens. What scares me the most about the Jets is their special teams. They have guys who can bring one back anytime in the game.

I'm hedging my bets on this game though so I'll be putting money on both sides lol.

I know what you are saying DK, and I would likely hedge my bets too. The main reason I was thinking the Jets is simply one thing - Brett Favre. He seems to be en fuego right now, and I've seen some of the most dominant teams crumble to a team that simply played with more heart. That's my .02 on that, so good luck with your bets! Again, I would love the Pats to win, just for Matt C., so we'll just have to wait and see!

Brett Favre is the ultimate anomaly when it comes to football. The guy just whips the ball anywhere and manages to make something out of nothing. It's just amazing! I swear, I even think he craps gold bars.

I'm watching Rutgers and North Carolina right now. Yes, I even watch random games! Rutgers was giving teams a run for their money a year ago. They were a Cinderella story like Tennesee was several years ago.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Green Bay is doing fine without Favre. That team has a lot of young depth that can win games. Rodgers ain't that bad, he's pretty mobile too.

Ditto w/Ferdy. We'll see, but I do want Brett to do a little "stick it to em." I kind of feel like GB did to Favre that the 49er's did to my boy Jerry Rice; although, not as bad(obviously). Jerry Rice was world class, and they s#@t on him -- in my opinion.

They have Aaron Kampman, KGB and Cullen Jenkins in their front 4. They're going to bring more than enough on the pass rush and can plug up any holes for opposing run games. Not to mention Harris and Woodson, two very physical and above average cover corners, in their secondary. Their defense is going to be the main reason they win games. Aaron Rodgers doesn't have to do much except maybe throw a couple deep passes to Jennings and Driver and hand it off to Grant.

I believe the entire team is important. A QB is important to orchestrate the offense; however, overall, if there are no receivers, linemen, safeties, etc, then there is no one to block, score and keep people from hemming the QB up, and with that there is no Football. It takes every position to make it work - even the field goal kicker. Everyone sleeps on that poor guy, but many games have been won and lost by the field goal kicker! lol.

Hey Choco, at my last company I did football pools, and when I go to Vegas I'll bet at the sport book; however, I don't bet every week on games, just occassionally, and I also don't bet on games that mean something to me emotionally. Like I know some people who wanted to bet against me on this Ohio State game, but I told them no. I never bet on the USC games.

LOL! Ferdy, I know exactly what you mean - AZ men OY (not all of them). I don't go to sport's bars to have guys pick up on me. I'm like them, I'm there to watch the game. Me and my girls go to this one bar, and initially the guys thought we were "those" kind of girls who went to SB's to pick up guys. They quickly found out we actually LOVE football and WATCH it. We gained their respect. They buy us drinks and all is good in the world!

Made 4 grand last week. I love the Patriots hahahaha! San Diego is fucking up royally as of late which is a pretty damn big surprise. That gunslinging match between the Cowboys and Eagles was bloody beautiful! I was right about Green Bay too, but then again they did play the Lions. Someone needs to blow up that team and rebuild.

Yeah the Dolphins are playing the Pats. Cassel's doing a really good job especially finding Welker. The Bengals suck! Nuff said. The Steelers are playing the Eagles today, that should be one hell of a game.

Lol I try not to flip channels. Usually just tune into ESPN.com to see the other games.

The Steelers will probably win because they have a better run game than the Eagles do. Ths game is hard to tell though. Like you said they have a healthy D-Mac so it's going to be a tossup because both defenses have great secondaries.

I'm with Ferdy, the Cards SUCK! They always have and likely always will. The sad part is that individually they have some awesome players - Anquan B, Larry F., etc, but collectively they suck. It's always like that every year. They have great talent and it's wasted. Then those good players go and shine on other teams and win playoffs and SB games. Pathetic and sad. The Philly vs Steelers should be good; Steelers have better D than what I've seen of Philly so far this year. The Dallas vs GB game should be good; although, last weeks shoot out between Dallas and Philly was awesome! Le sigh! LOVE FOOTBALL!

OY, did anybody watch college yesterday? Damn Les Miles and LSU pulled it out to barely beat Auburn. I can't STAND Les Miles. He talked so much crap about my school/team (USC) last year. Whine, b#tch and moan! Bastard! ASU lost to Georgia, it was to be expected, but all these losses are KILLING my Pac-10! We're never going to get any respect when all our teams lose in non conference games!

Well, IMO, the Giants are way overrated. I know they won the SB last year, but they just don't seem to bring it like some other teams.
Well, unless we play them in a bowl game we aren't scheduled to play them. The person I'm casually seeing is a Gators fan and he has such a hard on (giggle) to see USC vs Florida in the BCS Championship game. I told him only time will tell. We have to win every game convincingly to make it, so Coach Carroll preaches only focusing on each game and NOT looking down the road.
