How do you keep the intensity going as a Taurean, some say when we start something we see it to the end. I myself can focus very intensely at something I'm doing, the problem is that I can't keep it going for very long spans of time, my drive just fades. I'm sick of this because it has lead to many changes especially career wise. I would like some security in the future. How do I practice sustaining my energy for a longer journey. I tend to use all my energy at the beginning of a venture but later can tend to get bored. Taurus sun, Mars in Aries, Moon Sag & Ascendant in Aqua if that helps. Ta
As Taureans do we lose our focus

I believe it that Taurus are the builders, wanting to get something off the ground, well oiled and running and then move on to the next thing that needs needing. Not exactly the best candidates for long term maintenance. Your talking about a simple and practical influences, and whats rational about doing the same thing over and over again? Its a waste of time spinning your wheels and not getting anywhere, creates a serious lack of motivation.
I personally also have strong mercury influence on my chart, witch makes focus a lot harder. But I built my career with all of this in mind. I do well in positions where I'm creating and solving issues on a project for a few months, and move on to the next big problem. And I don't stay in a position longer than a few years, with the idea that I should improve my surroundings, and eliminate the need for my services there.
And I've been extremely unsuccessful in positions where I'm expected to do the same tasks and deal with the same problems over a long period of time. It just does not interest me, I start fixating on improvements... and I've had managers that tell me its not my job to change things. But that doesn't stop my fixations, anymore than it stops me from bringing it up.
But lets face it "I did it my way" might as well be a Taurus anthem, its gonna happen my way one way or another or its not gonna happen at all. 😄

oh man! I really do understand what you're talkin about. I've always felt my purpose is to get things in a state where they should, bump things to another level and move on to something else. whoever said Taureans are only for routine again?

a job with variety of tasks would probably appeal to you most. also if you could take short breaks then you would be able to recharge rather quickly, that would renew your energy to continue, i like things where i am challenged to create or think creatively and also work with my hands.
I also like something that's mentally, creatively challenging and also has a bit of physicality in it. I Should definitely try that short break thing.
