Confusion with this board/sign??

Just a little observation:

I notice that the Taurus board (which is my fave) is always very busy, with lots of people discussing thier sign.

My confussion with this is that, with Taurus being a earth sign, aren't you a bit more like earthy souls, and maybe don't believe in this kind of stuff as much as other signs?

I'm partly going off the fact that, my ex was a Capricorn, and didn't believe anything that couldn't be totaly explained in black and white and proven to him beyond all doubt... me being an open-minded aqua... this used to drive me nuts!

The Taurus I'm seeing now seems to be the same on that one, he thinks its "a load of nonsense".

So, just wondering where all you like minded fixed signs are hiding out?!

I was thinking the exact same thing. Any Taurus I know (and I was raised by one) would say "Bah!"

I'm not sure it it's just being a taurus, or the other influences but I know I have a quest in life to figure it out.

I understand that the taurus is truly happy when they realize life is more than materials and such. Searching for meaning and true happiness would also require us to look at the planets, God, history, whatever it takes.

For some people it is love or success, but us, when we look around and see our mountain of pleasures that we have attained and realize we still feel empty, we long for more, meaning.

I like a lively debate.
Personally, I find the coincidental similarities between people of the same sign intriguing, I don't find them an absolute. My believe is more empirical, I think the season of birth, the environmental factors etc... play a great deal on the little developing human. For instance, living in a cold climate, wouldn't the constant bundling up before going outside as opposed to being laid free on a blanket on the lawn and being let to roll around in the warm sun play a role on the baby's development, psychologically?
Just a thought.
Planets are big mofos tho and have gravity, and we are mostly water, so who knows what part they play as well.
