Ah, I am a Virgo woman in relationship with a Taurus man. So far it's been amazing, like something out of a dream. I think that these two signs go very well together, because they can really understand each other. Same dreams, same expectations from love...

It's supposed to be a love-at-first sight combination... one that can really work inspite of all odds. There is even a bigger chance of finding a soulmate in such a combitantion (a 5-1 combination) So, astrologically you have a lot going for you.

Virgos are not usually egoistic, sometimes they only appear that way because they take time to open up.

I was with a taurus guy for awhile, and it definitely was a "love at first sight" sort of thing. The only problem was we started to fight a lot because he could be kind of posessive, and he was REALLY stubborn.

I think its a miserable combination! They make good friends, but poor lovers. Virgos are probably the least sensual sign I've ever been with, next to Gemini's. And we bulls need our sensuality. I also found Virgos to be way too mental, too regimented in their life style s, too bossy, and a bit too brash. But I get along great with them, just not on an intimate level. I can hang with Virgos all day and shoot the shit, but sexually...you couldn't get any further from what this bull is looking for.

Well my moon is in Taurus if that counts and I was with a virgo off and on for many years. Your very right about the sweetness and sensitivity, I've never met anyone quite as intensely intimate. Everything he did he did with complete passion. I found we communicated very well, and were never board with each others company. Your also right about the narrow mindedness, my Virgo could wear blinders at times. I also found him to be very judgemental, not with me, but others he was close too. Very hard, ridged, and not so understanding. It use to shock me because he wasnt that way with me.

Interestingly enough - I have studied the patterns of a Virgo for a long time. HAving been involved with one for quiet a number of years. I think younger Virgos tend to gravitate to another Earth sign - and the Air signs. However, Virgo truly wants the person that he will thrive with emotionally. He really does want something deep and lasting. Another Earth sign will more than likely understand him somewhat (Capricorn, Taurus) but he will feel something lacking there. And they maybe too much alike. So he seeks something fluffy, like a Gemini, Libra or even Aquarian. However, there carefree attitude and ever changing minds - and theories will scare him as he gets older. Plus Air signs are prone to mind games - something Virgo avoids like the black plague. In the end, he may meet an emotional Water sign (Cancer, Pisces, or Scorpio) and will find the depth he's been searching for all of his life.

Jane Goodman wrote in "Love Signs" Most other signs have tried to get Virgo to feel with their hearts. Scorpio will get the Virgo to finally "feel" the emotions that have eluded him all of their life.

In my family there are four Virgo/Scorpio pairings - all of them have lasted through the years. I find that very strange. My uncle is a Virgo and not an easy man to deal with sometimes - tho' he's sweet. My Scorpio aunt walks into a room and he watches every step she takes. They have been together was over 40 years. That to me is so cool.

I guess that is why I love the Virgo that I am with so much.

Strange - the Virgo that I see was with a Gemini when I met him. I think she wanted to marry him at one time - but he left her after we met.

I think Air signs are somewhat flighty at times - nice people tho'. I have a couple of Libra friends and gee, they talk a lot. LOL.

this is so true - I started with a taurus guy, it was good in the beginning but too routine & he was too controlling. I dated a leo for a few months, HAHA - BIG mistake on my part!! Next was a libra, we were in a long distance relationship for a year - we got along well, but maybe TOO well. I got bored, and we just didn't click. I am now with someone who has a pisces sun AND a cancer moon, and I can honestly say that I have never been so content with someone before.

This is my first post, but I've been doing alot of reading. I was wondering when someone was going to mention the other planets and or ascendants sign. I've read that the moon,venus and mars locales make a big difference in compatability. Anyways, I think you're right Starlight. You can't just go by someones sun placement.

Reading everyone's messages puts me in an uneasy state. Hi, im a taurus girl and have recently been seeing a virgo guy for the last month. I know its early days but i have never felt so content and relaxed. As a taurus i always feel the need to know where i stand and be in control of the situation, but with a virgo guy i dont feel the need to be like that. Its like we instictively understand each other,and are so much on the same wave length i can trust him completely with the situation and my feelings. Its an un-spoken understanding that we share the same morals and values. He doesnt make me anxious or nervous, a refreshing change after my last 3 relatonships were with gemminis which all ended in disaster! That is so true, up until now I've always been fatally attracted to gemini's, who with their flighty ways have always ended up hurting me. I thought I was destined to always go for Gemini men until recently when I met this gorgeous Taurus man.
