Hi, Im a Cancer! Confused by Taurus boyfriend

Been in a two and a half year relationship with a Taurus and for quite a while I feel like he is leading me on. We started off as friends for 5 years prior to dating. Although he has never left my side, showers me with gifts and is a bit clingy, lately he seems to be a bit different. I have brought it to his attention but he swears nothing is wrong. Yet his predictable behavior has become unpredictable within a week. He has isolated himself from me for two days now, when he is at work the texting has minimized and he just seems nonchalant now. So I ended up going home today and telling him good night ...although I'm not going to sleep lol his weird behavior has turned me off. Mind you we have been on and off at least five times already due to his inability to be emotionally available, he can be a bit of a ahole at times. Long story short i am beginning to think he just thinks the world revolve around him and he has gotten comfortable to where he think he doesn't need to continue doing what he did to get me in the first place.

Sorry so long but I am about fed up with this wishy washy man and would rather just cut him off altogether
