I just found out that both my parents are Taurus's

I had no idea and always forget their birthdays unless my phone reminds me. This is interesting as I recall someone asking about the possibilities of two Taurus's together. Here you have it, over 35 years of marriage so they must be doing something right.

35 YEARS of TAURUS staying power.. your mom's a sweet, probably pretty sensitive but VERY nuturing with those cancer placements. Taurean women are naturally nurters but add some Cancer..= Magic. I bet your childhood was memorable. 🙂

I have a Merc in Gemini..lol.. Yes we're chatty..but we get the party GOING!! Can't stand a dead moment.

Dad has alot of Taurus in his chart..he's a laid back dude..lol.
Oh, and I can see WHY there was 35 years of BLISS. Both their moon are water..Pisces/cancer and your dad's Mars in Scorpio..made for NEVER a dull night ...I know tmi..but FACT.

Bottom line FAMILY and HOME matter to these two.

Never a dull night for my ears either .. you can be sure of that too.

Mom is very nurturing indeed, always teaching us things, taking care of us. I see my own childhood through the grandchildren now, she's a total mother hen. Protecting, educating, raising everyone willing to listen. Oeh and be warned if you do any of her loved ones wrong.. she will use those horns. She's going to do it tomorrow again, oeh she got real feisty at the table when she said she was going to chew out a colleague for crossing the line into her territory.
She is quiet to start but when surrounded by people she knows, she's the life of the part. Alcohol, great food & chatting away for hours on end. Only I never understood why she becomes such a raging bitch the next day. It's almost as if she feels guilty for having too much fun, turns angry the next day like clockwork.

Dad is.. laid back alright.
He loves working the books/finances, taking care of us all. Especially the little ones now, he's the strong silent type. He gets anything done really and mom loves to say she gets no help from him, but he's bringing home the bacon and fixing everything. Hahah those two..

They're also both the eldest of their siblings, the most mature ones and keeping the herd together. Still to this day.. not always equally successful with everyone being 40+ in age. The amount of shit they went through but still go back to family over & over. Neither ever forgets how someone mistreated them, especially mom never forgets or reminds us 🙂

Couple all this with the fact that BOTH are teachers. They always always always always ALWAYS know better 😛
And then they wonder where I got it from hahahahah.

lol, your parents actually sound pretty great.

I have a pisces mom and love her to death, we get along so well, she's more of a friend than a mom. My dad's a gemini and he's...a lot to take. 🙂

Parents are great, my Aquarius brother not so much... 😛

Yeah, I'm afraid I'm stuck with them.. I got too much bull stink on my scales to even be attracted to something else.
This must explain why I felt so at home with him from the first minute.

I had two Bull grandparents they made 11 children together. YIKES!
