I don't read those sites, but one of my girlfriends does, and she said there was one post where the poster said in an episode where Sandra Lee was on the beach (which I saw that awful episode), she looked like a Mickey Mouse Whore. She had on some red & white awful outfit w/her boobs pressed up to the heavens and hanging out. That, in itself isn't a bad thing, but she had her hair in two pigtails on either side of her head. I'm like, "really lady?"

I don't think she's unattractive, she just can't cook. Ummm, it's a cooking show, so I apologize, but my expectations are that you can cook things I'd actually want to eat, and not stuff you shove down your poor, young nephews throat. (That lil boy is so cute by the way).

Meatloaf sandwiches are one of my favorites. Roast turkey or chicken also really good. I think soups, chilis, stews, things like lasagna just keep getting better. 🙂

I like to make cola ham. Slide a ham into Coca-Cola ( no joke ) let it simmer for a couple of hours, carefully lift it to a pan. Score it well, and pack a mixture of brown sugar, dried mustard and ground clove all over the surface. Slow bake that until it's glazed well. It's just amazing. BEST if you have a hog in the freezer, smoked locally. I like to do that if I can. A married couple I know have lil' oinkers.

Wonderful. I love to bake. Homemade breads, yeast rolls, cookies, cakes, pies. 🙂 Store cookies never compare.
