i felt surprisingly well this morning

That's good. I was hoping that same sunlight didn't feel like two railroad spikes in your eyes. Just got off of work, and it sho' is fine.

nope, the roads are cleared.

There hasn't been a proper snow here yet. That will not hit until Jan/Feb. That is when hard winter goes here. I still haven't winterized the house, shame on me.

that is coming up quick, you should start soon.

I know. Need to get some of those window kits, they worked fairly well last year. I have quite large picture windows in this drafty old place..you can put your hand out and feel the cold seeping in. Watch the ice creep up. They definitely need it.

i have them on all my windows, and the plastic bows out because of the wind coming in. it helps out a ton, but i still sleep under like 7 blankets.

It does the same here. I have quilts on my bed. ( I know, a chick thing ). Nice, sturdy iron frame. I always seem to wake up wrapped up like a pillbug in them.

thats the best way to sleep, all wrapped up. it is just a little bit harder to get out of bed in the morning.

LOL Agreed. Who wants to get out of bed in the winter? Go WAY clock. Just snuggle back under and drift off again.

it is about to be 50 degrees here friday and saturday, WTF. there goes all my snowboarding.

Booooooo! 😢 Supposed to be freezing rain here soon, then a warm up as well. Everything is so flat out gorgeous after one of those hits, and dangerous.
