My taurus crush

I want to ask for a question/help from you guys. My English is not good, so pls understand me. I would really apreciate if you could read n respond to this post.

Ok, so i met this guy at a camp in July, n i had a crush on him. (He's taurus with scorpion moon, n i'm gemini with virgo moon). Later on we chat on facebook ect. He knows that i like him by seeing my behavior. He talks alot, jokes alot, n he tells me so much about his family, childhood, friends ect. Its a good thing because its easier for me to know him. I dont talk much, maybe cuz i'm shy, it was worse in the beginning. He often tells me to talk. But sometimes i dont know what to say or talk about. But thats not the point. The point is i feel like its hard for me to understand him, i really like him n want intimate relationship. One day he asked me 'do you love me?' I didnt say i love you, instead i said 'love is a big word, its hard for me to say it,'. He said 'but i said i love u to u, do u mean that my words r not big? R u saying that i'm joking when i say ilu to you?'. Then i felt very bad. 'No, ofcourse not, i didnt mean like that. I like u very much, but i just cant say i love u to someone right now, pls understand me. From that day, he was mad/upset at me for a whole week. I tried to reach him, explain him, tried everything. He said i hurt him alot. But after a week he calmed down. I tried to talk about it, but he said 'just nevermind, past is past. He became normal again (by normal, i mean he talks to me just like he used to, he starts to make joke n talk alot). I was really glad and thankfull. But the problem is after this thing, he never talked about his feelings for me. Never asked me 'do u love me' stuff like that.He never talks sweet things anymore. I noticed that, n i know why. Its a little sad :/ he's hard for me to understand. But i really like him n try to be patient, understanding n taking everything easy n calm.
From that day on i'm very careful when i talk, cuz i dont want a bad ending, n i dont want to hurt him.
