picky with mates

question for taurus people do u consider yourself picky when choosing a mate?my good friend tells me that i am to picky when looking for a mate...i think is more of my ideal mate im searching 4 than picky i do give people a chance but when they dont measure up,the relationship ends...but thinking about it..i think that in most relationships im ready to be in a committed relationship while the other person is not...then when time passes they always try to comebackk,,but of course it is too late,if u dont get it right the first time thats it,for me when i finally get over someone there is no going back....im just curious as to what others think?

Yes I'm picky but to me being picky just means that I know who I am, I know what I like, and I'm not willing to settle for less. Which is a good thing, otherwise you end up with someone who you don't really want to be with & throughout all the relationship you'll spend your time trying to change them into the person you want them to be, not appreciating who they are. What kinda relationship is that? It's not, that's a fantasy. Having said all of that, I try to keep my list of "Deal Breakers" on the shorter side. There are things I absolutely can't deal with. No Job, dependency, drug& alcohol abuse, men who don't like children. There are a few more but you get the idea. If your list has 50 things, you'd have a hard time finding someone who could live up to each & every thing. Things like bad hair cut or bad dress style can be fixed with "gifts" so those aren't important to me.
