Quick survey for Taureans out there....

Ideal Partner for a Taurean

The best partner for a Taurean is often someone who provides stability and complements their grounded nature. While opposites like Sagittarius may bring excitement, many Taureans prefer reliable signs such as Virgo or Capricorn for harmony. Compatibility varies, but mutual respect and shared values are key to a successful relationship.

I have a question. I'm new to this site, well, I was here a while ago, but then I stoped coming forever....and I dont remember ever getting an answer to this question I once asked. What do you think is the ideal partner for a Taurean? I think it would be best to have a Sagittarian, because opposites attract, and ones needed to break out of the Taureans boring ways and stuff. But I dont know. I'm on the path to find someone, but its really hard for me, I find. I totally detest Arians, I think they might be the worst sign for Taueans, not meaning to offend anyone or anything -- but all of the Arians I know are ocmpletely horrible.

Yeah....anyway...I'd just like to know everyones opinion on this.

That is a horrible stereotype for Taurus! We are not boring. When we work we work and when we play we PLAY.
And anyway if we are boring then we're also fixed and no other sign we'll get us out of our boring ways- that sounds irritating, in that case sagittarius would be a horrible match for us.
Taurus needs the like not the opposite. We like to be right, we like things a certain way and we don't like a whole lot of disagreement so there would have to be basic similarities as we won't change anything dramatically for anyone.
Virgo is a match because they too are down to earth, also capricorn, cancer also. We just need stability, we can find fun on our own 🙂

Hmmm...I've dated all over the board, but I find the easiest has been with Capricorns, for some reason. And I was with a Pisces for 6 years. I dated a few Geminis, but they are too flighty and annoying. Virgos are WAY too mental, and not as in tune with their sensuality as I'd like a woman to be. Only made out with Sagittarius, and I was with an Aquarius once (they are kinda weird but fun). Scorps are more hype than anything. 😉 Leos are fun in the sack but a little childish and surprisingly get their egos hurt real easy. Libras are attractive but annoying. Cancers take a consider amount of molly-coddling but I'm inexplicably attracted to them, I just love them to death.

And last but not least...taurus. ya know, I haven't had an experience with one. the women just kinda put me off, no offense! but I can feel their heavily scrutinizing mental waves washing over me, and I just don't want to deal. And since we're both comign in with our guards up, its hard to even ignite something since we're both being aloof and playing it safe. But god dammit, so many Taurus chicks are so unebelievably attractive. I don't think I could ever date one long because we'd just lock horns too much.

With that said, here's how I'd break it down:

Water---good, long lasting friendships.
Fire --- great for a fling
Air --- nice to look at, maybe occasionally touch
Earth --- safe

hahaha

Aquarian females make the best friends, they are so wacky and fun. I have one male Aquarian friend, he is great fun, but he goes into these "dark places", I should check out his moon sign, must be in Scorpio.
Including my Ex, two of my past bf's have been Scorpio, I don't know why, but they seem to seek me out for some reason or other. Went out very briefly with a Leo and it was as if he expected me to be his personal "cheerleader" or something. Nice guy but we didn't click.
And LMAO @ Cancer needing molly coddling! I can't deal with having to give that much reassurance. This current flame, the Taurus guy, floats my friggin boat. Oh Yeah.

Me too! how funny. I see my guy one day and I'll think of him the next, if I don't see him for 2-3 days my thoughts are somewhere else, a week? I feel single. We tauruses are backwards or something because the more we see someone the more we looooove them and if we don't see them for a long time they become almost like strangers to us and their image starts to bluurrrrrr real quickly.
When I barely met my crab three years ago and we started dating he'd ask me 'did you miss me?' if we hadn't seen each other in a couple of days and I'd say 'no' and he'd try to joke 'you're supposed to say yes'. Three years older I'm thinking I should have added 'but i still like you' 😛 hee hee hee

Ya my mind totally needs to be entertained constantly. It's sick and I wish I could be like some people who can just be happy in a place where I would be completely bored. But I can't, and part of that is with relationships, when you leave for too long I will find a way to replace you. Because there is no way I am going to sit and miss you and wonder why I am not with you. A few days to miss someone is ok, but I dunno. I can wait for someone longer but there must be at least some form of communication.

I rarely call, but that's just me I think. I'm kinda an old fashioned girl. I date the old fashioned hot romantics anyways. If a guy doesn't call then I will call or leave a sweet message and if there is no response then I quietly leave. I never want to feel like the desparate one, because I'm not. Relationships are not because of lonliness for me. In a cold relationship it is even colder anyways. I will be with someone because I am crazy about THEM, not the relationship. So if they don't call, I feel like they are not crazy about me, and I can't do a 1-sided affair.

" most of us want it all the time... but the world tells us it's wrong because hardly anyone else wants it that way"

Soooo true for my Sag-baby. I would be the happiest girl in the world if I could share my life with someone - and I don't mean overdoing it and being suffocated. Even reading a book in the same room together and looking at each other sexily every so often. Or walking in a park while the other partner climbs the trees or cartwheels along. Everyone is different and you shouldn't change that, but togetherness is not being the same, it's sharing and admiring each others approach.

Ok, I was just wondering about the calling thing, because it seems that if I don't make the contacts, I won't hear from him. And like you tg, I'm a bit old fashioned that way, I don't like to be the one calling all the time. But if I don't, I hear about it, he gets a bit pissy. I read somewhere that Taureans like people coming to them, as opposed to reaching out themselves, which prompted my question.

have the same problem with my friend Taurus. Every time I call him, he never pick up.
It seem to me he calls when he wants to?on his term and time. When he does call, he
say things like, what's up with me not contacting him. I said to him, "You got my number".

He is confusing me like hell or he is the one confused.

What kind of personal problems would Taurus have, to not want to move forward or not contact the person that really cares about them?

My Taurus friend sent me an e-mail, said his life is in a crazy time and it is hard for him not to be able to give people want they want. What is he talking about? What does he think he is expected to give? I just want to be there with him.

Absolutely true! If I want something though I will go for it aka, call someone up but for the most part, I looove when someone wants me and is doing the work of coming after me. I guess it makes us feel more loved and admired. The problem is, naturally everyone cools off at a point and Tauruses don't really like this phase ending and get stuck in it, not wanting the natural flow of the relationship to fluxuate. I can move anywhere, do something different in a split second, but this type of change is hard. Why would I want someone to stop being facinated by me? Well, someone I like that is. If is someone I am not attracted to, I will nicely tell them, it won't work and then I run for the hills like the Aquas....
