I am a Cancer male and I've been dating a Taurus woman for about 2 and a half months now. We both agreed that we were not ready for a relationship but we hit it off so fast it was crazy. We started talking everyday and seeing each other whenever we could make the time. She always told me she loved talking to me and she appreciated me being so good to her. She started making plans of me spending time with her kids. About a csouple weeks ago things just changed she became quite distant so I finally asked her what's wrong and she told me she's not ready for love and doesn't want a relationship which was odd to me because we've never said anything about love or a relationship so I told her that I do have feelings for her but as far as a relationship if it happens I'll be here and that I was just enjoying our time together then she say's we just need to slow things down. She says that she doesn't know why I like her because her life is so crazy and I shouldn't want to deal with it but I told her that her having a crazy busy life has no bearing on me liking her. So I've been staying away texting her every couple of days just to let her know I still think about her and still care for her and I'm going to be here even if it's difficult. Am I handling this right I'm trying to stay cool on the outsidebut lord knows the cancer in me is going crazy right now wondering if she still likes me or waiting for her to cut me off completely I've never dated a Taurus woman and I'm definitely stuck.Any advice would be great.
