Rebuilding a Friendship

[aside:] Go away, retrograde! Nobody likes you anymore!

So, I have this Taurean friend. He and I have been pretty tight for awhile, always platonic, no romantic interest. This past month, he has been having trouble with his money and trouble with his ex. He did and said some pretty stupid things, and in response I said some pretty stupid things to him. We both let our "fuck you" flags fly, and havent been on speaking terms since. We have been mad at each other before, but never like this. Think about the last tiff you had with a friend and multiply it x10.

Ive been wanting to reach out to him and reconcile, but have been waiting for retrograde to be over. I know from his sister (also a good friend of mine, who also thinks he has been acting like an idiot) that his money and ex problems are still going on, so Ive been doubly hesistant to try to reconcile -- seems like he wants spaaaaaaaaace.

But it's been a few weeks, and now that retrograde is passing, I really want to reach out to him. We don't live very close to each other anymore, so the chances of me bumping into him are very slim. I basically just have social media to work with. Whats the best way to go about trying to salvage this friendship? We both said shitty things to each other, and Im not all innocent in our scrap. I send him a long apologetic text via whatsapp about two weeks ago, owning up to what I said and talking about the value of a friendship. No response, but I know he saw it.

Any suggestions on making up with a Taurean friend?

I would give him space ...you said you text him and he said nothing..unless you willing to talk to him face to face if you want to go further. .i think because he said nothing let me know that he is not ready to deal with you..some people just need more time . Also taurus is a fix sign so it take them aliitle longer to get out of that hard headed frame of mine they in.
