Taurus Care?

in general, tauruses are not "supposed" to be easy to get along with, mainly becuz they're more driven in their path of life than by social interactions. ppl who are social butterflies tend to be so becuz they either like getting attention in the social sphere or simply get excited by the thought of being around other ppl. they also appease their company by giving in to others' opinions or try to make themselves look more presentable. tauruses, on the other hand, do not care whether or not you like them. they will boldly give their opinion without holding back, bluntly putting it all on the line. most are here not to make friends for awhile, but friends for life - they do not care about the little things becuz they do not care about living by any rules that are not of their own. that may be why tauruses seek strong companions - they need to be around ppl who aren't weak enough to take what they say seriously and go into depression becuz those ppl want to "live up to their exprectations" and have insecurities that are aroused becuz of an attack of words.

to tell my specific story, i could easily chat up a storm with nearly anybody, but that itself would not be the reason why i would wake up in the morning, nor the reason why i would smile inside. tauruses have powerful passions and goals - things that they stick to when important. nothing else would matter. ppl don't even matter. i'm really considerate with other ppl, but only becuz i have a lot of compassion and sympathy toward individuals (cancer moon) - and i sometimes like to feel that i have helped when someone is in need. that's what's most relevant in my interacting endeavors, for i always tend to feel as though i can intuit others' moods. but i do value my personal freedom a lot - especially becuz i like spending quality time with myself to get to know myself a little better, and to be away from others' constant need to seek my company/advice, for at least a little while if possible. but my actual interest in ppl, however, is a totally different story.

in my case (sagittarian ascendant), i tend to be around ppl all the time - ppl who i enjoy talking to and debating crap with. but most would be surprised about what is really important to me.

we only put our real energies into ppl who are worth it - ppl who we care about or think of as warm-hearted. a hobby and a passion are significantly distinctive, we may effectively chat with other ppl becuz we like to stay sane and human, but our needs alone are not met in that particular arena.

we can never be cruel to those whom we trust, and our trust is indeed limited to a small number, if any at all. are tauruses stubborn? yes. but are tauruses also capable of becoming more flexible when they actually care about something? a definate hell yes.

if you don't get along with a taurus, it could be becuz that specific taurus is not particularly fond of you to begin with. like libra, taurus is ruled by venus, and both of these signs are innately seductive and well-aware of it. it's just that the libra tends to use their charm in everyday life and the taurus hardly ever uses it becuz they don't find it necessary. they don't find it in them becuz they don't feel as though they can benefit from it. they seek love and a true one at that. that is why the taurus marriage is statistically known to last the longest. we can fall head-over-heels all over again, even with the same person after years and years. the thing is, most tauruses do not always meet those that they should trust a lot of the time, and they may be let astray by their overly sensual natures.

i wouldn't pretend to like someone if i didn't. i won't hate anyone by any means, nor would i let the likes of him/her cloud my valuable judgement; i would just naturally ignore him/her with a bitter indifference without even knowing that i do so. but i'm not quiet by any means when around them. i keep living my life - i just don't

ok.. i just got back from spring break two days ago and decided to post a long ass thread about how some tauruses can be. i don't know if that's for all, but that's true with me. i'm not sure why i even typed this. it was kinda random, but oh well.. you guys get the drift.. lol.

I totally agree with you about you say about Taureans. I'm almost exactly the same. I can count the number of close friends I have on one hand, but I can still go into a room full of people and talk the hind legs off a donkey! Like you said, it's not that I need to feel accepted or to make new friends. I also have Sag Ascendant which I think def helps me talk to people more, as does my Gem moon. But I don't trust people easily, and it takes a long time to earn my trust. I've attracted a lot of people who don't deserve my friendship and they've soon known about it. Unfortunatley I've learnt that my first impressions are accurate 99% of the time, and although I'll sometimes try and get to know someone I have doubts about I'm usually right about them. I don't think Taureans are as stubborn as they are portrayed. I mean, if I have an opinion and someone else doesn't share it then fine. Even if they try and and change my mind, they can't. Which is stubborn, but I don't do it in a nasty way, and the word stubborn has nasty connotations which I don't really like.

You were right on the money VV! I had worried that your cancer moon might take away from your bullie nature but it doesn't 😛 lol

Copperhead is also right about the stubborness part but I've realized that we don't realize it either most of the time. I mean I hear that I'm stubborn all the time but I just don't understand why anyone would call me that, I guess it just means that I'm more stubborn than most...? It's as natural to us as having two arms and legs etc. 😛 I figure it's like people who are loud and don't realize it either unless someone brings it to their attention or like leos who don't realize how annoying they are until a bull tells them...? Then the bull doesn't understand why he seems so butthurt and most amazing of all, can't believe that no one else has told them that they were annoying! I mean how many years of annoyance before someone tells you? lol

lol i don't let ppl take advantage of me (taurus sun)! but it's supposed to be easy for ppl to take me for granted, though (cancer moon). then when i disappear (sag rising), ppl think that i don't care about them anymore. but hmm.. it's not that i don't care, it's just that i have a lot to do, so not EVERYTHING can be a priority for me. i only care about my close friends, though. otherwise, i can entertain without thinking that i'm suddenly "theirs" or something.

i like to cheer ppl up, though (sun, moon, rising). but damnit, i'm hungry again. i'm gonna go find some edible crap to fill my tummy with....
