Taurus Dad

What can you tell me about Taurus when they're fathers?

I am a Capricorn, and for the longest time I was scared of my Taurus dad. He's always been very emotive and didn't know how to express his emotions, so he became an alcoholic.

When I would do something bad, like get bad grades, he would drink.
So all my life I thought I was his reason of getting drunk every night.

He wanted me to do well in school, but never actually gave me encouragements when I had good grades. He always had mommy issues as well.
When I told him I wanted to leave the city I'm from and where he's been living all his life, he discouraged me.
I left anyway and I became a successful photographer. But I did it all on my own, because he always told me that he would never help me financially for school or anything.
That all the money he's got, I would get it after his death.
I know that I will get a big inheritance. He's a hard working man, worked and saved money all his life. But I always thought he was so cold.

Now, we're patching things up.

But I have such a hard time figuring him out as a person.

So what can you tell me about Taurus parents?

Boy, I can write a book on horrible Taurus fathers trust me. don't have time, but maybe I'll elaborate when I get home from work.

I don't know many taurus men but I have one that's a teacher and he's got to be the coolest and sweetest guy. I believe he has a strong leo and cancer presence in him. but he's funny and doesn't like crude humor but laughs at fails and teases us in a dad kind of way. Im surprised he doesn't have kids he would be so perfect as one!

some a bum parents - not because they are Taurus but they are just broken people in general
