taurus man hot and cold ..confused

im very concerned about a taurus man that i really admire well when we started speaking we hit it off really well we live in different cities and so we we're just texting after 3 days of texting me non stop he sends me a message saying that he has a girlfriend and he really likes me and wants to meet me but he didnt want me to find out about his girlfriend and hate him ...i laughed it off and acted like it was okay he then proceeded to tell me that im still not allowed to put him in the "friend zone" then the next day he was texting me non stop again ...but then all of a sudden he's replies are like hours apart but he still replies no matter what so no ignoring me ...and he sometimes explains why he couldnt chat but he stopped flirting too,,,and then all of a sudden he'll flirt with me ....but hes just always hot or cold with his texts and behavior i know his busy most of the time and cant reply right away but then yesterday i figured that he'd lost interest in me and wanted to get over it till i got a call from his cousin asking me who i am their saying "(his name) has only got good things to say about you so i called because i wanted to know what was going down between you two" so i said friends ..good friends and then we went on about how you can have different kinds of friends and things ....and then when i asked him he said he was speaking to his cousin earlier and didnt know what they did or how they got my number he would never be so childish he then started with his 2 hour inbetween texts and when i told him i'd speak to him some other time if he was busy he said
"nooo" and when i spoke about how i always reply in paragraphs hes like "but i like your paragraphs" im so confused ...i want to understand i know its long but please help me

This is not HOT and COLD Taurus behavior.

This Taurus man is clearly cheating on his girlfriend and wants a cooperative 'jumpoff' on the side.

A Taurus hot and cold behavior stems from being enamored with you one minute and distrusting you the next.

I don't see this in his case.
There is no confusion.
No disappearing acts.
No hot and cold behavior.
Just a playboy who spelled out exactly what his intentions were!

was the cousin a he or she? are you sure it was not his gf calling?

I thought the same thing. Seemed odd for a cousin to be that interested in who she is.
