I can go on all day about this, because I am passionate about this. Just a little food for thought (pun intended), there is a company that prepares home made chicken noodle soup. It's delivered in 1-2 days and for 16oz jar with a bow, it cost $ 32.00 (and I believe shipping is separate) -- and they are doing very well...think about it.

Kind of back on topic sort of/kind of/but not really 🙂
I think that I can relate so much to Janet Jackson and her music (since she's a Taurus too 🙂) because she has this total freaky side about her; yet, she comes across fairly demure and introspective (except when she's prancing around on stage little nips pop out - hahahaha).
I have this affinity towards her, because her songs are so sensuous and sexxy, even when they are sad and talking about heartache. She's a loner; whether she wants to be or not, she totally is, and I can SO relate to that - even though I have friends, I am very much a loner, and she's had horrible luck with relationships. I just so get her!
OMG I feel the same way about her...I sense something warm in her ( if that makes any sense lol).
I, just like Miss Jackson ( because I'm nasty 😛) I have a freak flag lol
She is def someone I would love to meet before I die

I played clarinet and saxophone. I loved to draw/paint when I was younger. I can sing ok. And I do cook very well; however, unlike VB, I DON'T want to cook for others unless I really like them. If I had a restaurant, it would serve like 10 people max, and the menu would change daily. Although, I did come up w/this concept for a Sport's Bar - my friends say I should do it, but I tell them there is little money in the food industry (restaurant profit margins are sh#t, that's why high-end restaurants push the liquor/wine, because that's where they primarily make their $ $ $ - just a quick econ lesson today).Alright, I'm goofy today (for no reason), so I likely shouldn't post anymor today!!!
I love to bake cookies and cakes. My sis (cappie) dislikes the thought of me making dinner. It's not that she thinks my food is horrible...She actually devours my food. She's afraid she'll get fat because of how I prepare it ::pfft::.

Thank you for the needle advice. I think I'll have to stick with hand sewing for now...My mom,knowing how clumsy I am will NEVER, EVER let me touch her machine lol

When I am seeking refuge, I'll usually do one of the following: cook, clean or write (and take the dog for a walk, that makes me happy).

taurushed ~ here's the quilt I did. I made it for my friend, who is a most righteous dude. 🙂 I used my jeans and the childrens to make it personal and special and backed it in ticking for strength.
That's right USC, no waiting list for blood bonds and friendship bracelets. 🙂 This is Bull territory, we stick.

Wow this is awesome. Love the gradients in color 🙂. How long did it take you to complete this?
The top took around a month if I remember correctly. Usually block tops aren't that time consuming but I was squeezing it in between work and everything going on around here. 🙂 When that was finished I set it aside. Then the process with batting, basting, etc. That took a week, 2 of those frustrating days I spent breaking needles.

VB, I think midgetbull just answered your question! The value added of your experience, cooking and just flat out love of your product will beat any prepackaged crap any DAY of the week. The people who want to feed their family for $ 7.00 at McDonald's because they are too busy/can't afford it/don't want it, etc, are NOT the client base you would be catering to anyway. Honey, if people are spending $ 3.95-6.95 for ONE cupcake at Sprinkles & Cupcakes in Los Angeles, New York and Arizona (to name a few states where I've tasted these products) then YOU can do your business too. I'm not glamourizing nor saying it will be easy, but it definitely IS a labor of love, and love you have!
