taurus + taurus, help!

hi all,

i'm a taurus girl who's completely smittened with a taurus guy. he's so placid, talented and *very* good looking, and he's a gentleman. problem is, we don't talk much at all. there seems to be so much tension between us. not the good kind of tension... it's like weird repellence. from day one there was tension, but there also seemed to be a bit of attraction... some mind-numbing eye contact. from then on, i was too nervous to make a move or even initiate conversion because to me he seemed so untouchable... too good for me or something. when we're alone sitting together neither of us says anything, even though deep down i want us to be good friends so bad. perhaps he sees my lack of iniation as me not being interested? but at the same time he's not initiating anything. perhaps he's being stubborn like me and we're both just stubborning ourselves to death by not making the first move. i really want to get to know him better, he's such a catch. if we're not meant to be romantic partners, what about friendship? my sun sign is taurus, my rising sign is capricorn and my moon sign is cusp-ish between libra and virgo but more virgo. any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

oh, i forgot to add that my venus is in taurus too. how earthy am i, eh?

and another thing, before i found out that he's a taurus, i was positive he was a scorpio. so stoic and introverted. and those eyes... they pierce!

I am not a taurus...I am a cancer, but it has been my experience that dealing with your same sun sign is weird. I don't get along very well with Cancer men...Like you said, there is just something off about it. Sometimes, generally speaking, it is better to be with someone who is opposite than you because you *balance* each other out, if you know what I mean.

I say if it is all in fun, Throw caution to the wind & approach him...All he can say is yes or no...unless of course you work with him, that could be a bit more tricky.
