Taurus when ending a relationship!

When a Taurus ends a relationship is it final? Do they want to be friends or is this him re-kindling?

My taurus ended our relationship, after silence we have started speaking. He said we can be adults and he does still like me. Asked if I still liked him? I said yes and smiled.

We have arranged to get together at weekend. Is this to re-kindle or is this to make a friendship base?

Everyone on here is amazing for advice, so I appreciate any response :-)

From my experience with Taurus men. They are hard to get rid of. I had one leave for 2 months then come back. The lines were blurred between friendship and more.
Only a few weeks ago did we put a conclusion on things. He told me he wanted me to move on. He wanted to be friends. When I told him that our friendship is probably temporary he said how. I said once I move on my new boyfriend won't like you being around me. He said I can just talk to him and tell him its just platonic. I am still shaking my head.
It was a long three year journey. At the end it taught me alot.

Impulsv I did ask. At first he said no. Then he ignored me. Then he spoke to me under duress and then asked for time. I have him a few days and asked if he wanted to meet up. He said not yet, his head still a mess.
Fate brought him here today and he spoke to me-a hell of a lot more than I thought and he suggested meeting up on Sat.
What he was saying was contradicting himself. We can all act like adults, I do still like you? How have u been? I can't talk now? But then he asked if I still liked him? Like he was insecure even though I have apologised and told him how upset I have been and how much I love him through a text, and had nothing back.
He ended it with, I will leave u to text and sort it? I am leaving it with u?

Yes, I think so. He suggested it. I tried to keep it a bit light hearted when he came round as the reason he left was cos of all the arguing. We lost sight of each other. He brought up the conversation, I thin I probably caught him off guard by not pushing him to talk.
Will do, I will meet up sat with an open mind and see what happens.
He must care to a certain extent, he came round due to an emergency leak I had and he fixed it for me.
