What a Taurus Man Means When He Says I Need You

When a Taurus man says he needs you, it often indicates deep emotional attachment and loyalty. It reflects his desire for stability and trust in the relationship. Taurus men express love through actions and words of reassurance, making their need for someone a sign of genuine affection and commitment.

"I need you." ?? Could this be the ultimate form of Taurus affection/love/loyalty? Or am I missing something? Tbh, I've always appreciated others kindnesses and am one to never forget a kindness from someone (the Scorpio in me.) But I've never explicitly expressed my affection towards someone as a need, except for one time I was feeling extra vulnerably compromised did I think, I need this person right here and now in my life. And yet, other times, the object of my affection isn't exactly something I'd say I need. Is this common among Taurus folk? To say they need you. It feels very honoring to be honest, that I could make someone actually feel a need for me. Not a lot of issue necessarily need thus bundle of neurosis. Then again... That means Taurus is quite tolerant to neurosis.

Oh well, just my thoughts.

The context in which the statement was used might help. My Taurus Ex says it all the time. He needs help making something for work like cookies or cupcakes. He needs me to fax something to somewhere for him. He never said it when were together or in a romantic context. That is not his style. However he had a Taurus stellium so verbally expressing feelings was not his thing.

I was complaining about getting stuck in my driveway from the snow. The next day I got home from work and my driveway was shoveled and salt had been put down. He sent me a text that I shoveled your driveway and I bought that shovel for you. That's his style. LOL

@Magenta, definitely wanted, something to do with Scorpio and passion. As usually, I go by Robert Frost's definition of love which is, "The irresistible desire to be irresistibly desired." So yeah, desire. Need though, I need to understand more when a Taurus says that. Does it mean they fear losing someone, that this person changes their life? A pledge of loyalty?

All about context. Also, you'll know when it comes from the heart or is just an attempt to get something from you.

Myself, I would only consider saying that to someone I deeply love and care for and also not say it in a needy way. But she'll no where it comes from. We are to stubborn to 'need' help. Might ask you I need you to do something for me just so that you don't feel we don't value you too. Fact is, we need very little apart from true earthy love.

My bull says he needs me. Usually, it's those particular words (like scorpioharmony said )when he's horny.

He's also said, "i would be lost without you" and, " I don't know what I'd do without you" etc. I think would probably mean the same.

I, as a Taurus, would only say this if I was crazy about someone and also felt I had the power in the relationship. Yeah, so I have never said that.
