Hannibal TV Series

Okay why didn't I hear about this? Has anyone seen this TV series and is it good. Cause in about to engage in some serious watching. But don't want to be disappointed if the pilot sucks.

Just cause it's Hannibal, doesn't mean it's going to be good.

Dracula is alright; I expected more, still good; but not as I expected.

Bueno; it's not new....lol.

Still will like to know if it was good. They are supposedly coming out with a second season. If you have spoilers I don't care. Go ahead and tell me what you though about it_

I enjoy it. It's a bit twisted, but you sort of expect that.

I'm okay with twisted_ I'm gonna watch it. I like the Hannibal movies.

Was it as you expected or better then what you expected? Cause I'm think silence of the lambs and Anthony Hopkins is an amazing actor and played the part really well. Does the actor acting as Hannibal in the TV series does the character justice?

Personally, I really liked it, I have yet to watch the last few episodes because I've been swamped with work. I did watch all the movies... Silence of the Lambs and Manhunter are my two favorites. For me, this show fits perfectly with Manhunter. I think it was great casting, the focus being on Will Graham & Dr. Lecter, how their relationship began and well... you get to see persona vs. personality. I enjoyed watching Dr. Lecter's cunning, and his fabulous suits.

Love it. Way better than Dracula which, imo, is lamer than lame.

Mads Mikkelsen is amazing.

Very twisted like Phoenix said. Gory too. I would not advise it for those of a sensitive disposition.

Yes, much better. Mads Mikkelsen does a great job--a different take on Hannibal. I'm not sure if you saw Hannibal Rising, but it seems almost like a seamless transition from the actor that played Hannibal in that movie vs Anthony Hopkins version. It's sort of like the difference between American sitcoms vs British sitcoms.

I absolutely love Will Graham! I'm looking forward to the new season.

I loved it ..it's classic Brain fuller except cranked on the disturbing. It's very psychological and I think Mads does a brilliant job at playing Hannibal. It's bought into the twenty first century and it's plot is fantastic. You watch it and you know its not good for you but you can't stop. And Hugh Dancy is amazing too.
