we started watching it too!! so ironic. lol
my husband said the SAME thing...that it had a Stephen King vibe.
we really like it.
I don't get around to watching much TV now a days but I'm HOOKED on this one. Nothing currently available even comes close to how well written, well paced, well casted, and well DONE Stranger Things is.

So many John Carpenter and Stephen King references it was great.
I was 13 in 1983 and EVERYTHING was dead on about the set, setting, and atmosphere.
Can't wait for the 2nd season.
