Ladies would you ever platonically say......

to another female friend of yours that you liked them from the very beginning?

I had a close friend tell me this once.. at the time I didn't put much weight on it in terms of indicating any real romantic interest on her part.....

now I'm having seconds thoughts about it.

Platonic friend? No I won't. I'm straight tho...

I would say something like that ONLY if I want them to know I feel something more than friendship with them... It's a light flirty way of showing interest imo.

Not anymore.

I had strong romantic feelings for her in the very beginning of our friendship

but I never wanted to have sex with her.

she tried to initiate something a couple of times throughout our 10 yr long friendship...mostly when she was drunk or under the influence of something else.

i always just wanted to cuddle though.

during our the first two years of friendship

we'd tell each other i love you a lot...talk about being soulmates...etc

I feel people show a side of themself that they are afraid to show otherwise when drunk... Being drunk is just an excuse

Looks like she wanted more than a romantic relationship... Must have been difficult for her then!
