Sussing....

A friend of mine tells me the guy she was dating for a while is getting married this coming Autumn. The lucky bride to be lol is living in a different city.

The bridegroom to be still has feelings for my friend. She had the good sense to end the relationship because amongst other things (too fond of the hard stuff and he is a liar), she walked on in him with another woman. One night when they were out together (before i knew them too well), i was talking to them both and he hit on me right in front of her.......i asked her did she mind him doing this and she told me only if he didn't carry it through...fat chance with me, but it seems he did with other/s. Today she told me he still sends her sexy texts and shows an interest in her, even though she has a very strong aversion to him and even though he is getting married in six months.

The thing is the bride to be is a woman in her 40s, not a teenager or someone who hasn't experienced life (he is in his 50s) and she seems oblivious to his ways.

Like, wouldn't you just know? She knows his ex (my friend), so wouldn't you find out about him? He is a compulsive liar....opens his mouth and lies fall out....a heavy drinker and womanizer.....

Are (some) woman really that desperate that they would take on a guy that is a messed up headfuck (ironically the name of his thesis he did at Uni lol)?

I sometimes wonder about people and their intelligence and self respect?

People aren't always smart.

When there's 7 billion of us, there are bound to be some special snowflakes.

They say that there is someone for everyone.

And I've learned that not everyone thinks the same way that I do.

Shocking, I know! lol

She must know, or at least have a pretty good idea.

Or he's attempting to 'sweep her off her feet' and marry her before

she has a chance to change her mind/realize what's going on.

Who knows.

But I agree... it's weird. o.O

Maybe she's a masochist?

With his age he will get worse...I see him as a grumpy old man...and that's what she wants. To me the American saying is "BLOND!" 😆
