A Very Virgo County

I just received the quarterly report from our County Commission, and since they're getting ready to start a new fiscal year, they had the names, photos, and birthdays (month & day) of all the commission employees...

Well, out of 41 people, 18 are Virgos - 44% !

From what I can tell from their job titles, most are in administrative positions - all working behind the scenes to keep our rural paradise running smoothly...

Who says there's no heaven on earth...

You never said thank you to those who wished you a happy birthday, aside from SIL. That was not very mannerly of you, Mr. V.

Well, where I work, we are mostly water signs, with a few air signs in between. Almost a dozen water, and just a few air. Wierd? No? ::shrugs::

This static is EASILY explained. Our birthday's fall in the Aug/Sept range. Count back nine months and we're back in Dec/Jan.

Thats the time of the year when:
1. Holiday cheer is in the air which puts people in the mood to "celebrate" the season so to speak
2. The cold weather can be rather harsh and unforgiving. What better way to fight back winter than to have someone's legs wrapped around you?
3. Many people get to spend a lot of time off during this time period. What better way to pass time than a little... Bow chica bow wow!
4. Some are lonely around this time and often find themselves more willing to share the "comforts" of someone else than they would the rest of the year
5. How many Christmas parties have you been to where a little alcohol went a LONG way? Stories of random or long over due hook ups via "spirits" are very common this time of the year.

Sorry, VGM - I didn't keep the newsletter (Debra accuses me of being a pack-rat enough already!). Most of the Virgos were women. Most were SEPT Virgos. 3 - that's right, 3! - shared my 22 SEP birthday...
