I'm a HUGE fan of horror movies and thrills. I think I live for the rush of things. What people are freaked out by, I'm actually obsessed with. I do get scared, but I'm usually the one who rushes head on to the things.

for example... I've been ghost hunting and have done the ouija board a few times. I watch horror movies alone. But what does scare are things that people probably aren't afraid of:

Pitch black darkness, small enclosed spaces, flying insects, ect. Those things do scare me easily.

Eh all horror is a joke. Gore horror is fun but not scary, jump scares are cheap are retarded. The real horror is in mind fuck films, things like Begotten....Eraserhead...Funny Games. When something can make you lose all faith and hope in humanity then that is horror...check out Threads Nuclear War it's a film about what would happen if the US and Russia dropped their stockpiles on each other.

Virgos are weird because you can scare them easily.. and they're
the funniest to watch freak out.

But like many already said, most are perfectly fine with watching
a horror movie all alone.. at night.

I remember how surprised I was once to get home late at night and
find my mom sitting in complete darkness watching some HORRID
movie (from what little I saw) I was like WTF! She then very
matter-of-factly began explaining the movie.. like I wanted to hear
it o_O

She doesn't even like horror movies! But apparently she was bored
and "just got into it" lmao

Oh warning since I likes ya CLCNY with the Marble Hornet series watch it on semi low volume since to add a sense of authenticity they do use sound distortion and white noise to add the effect that the equipment is failing at times 🙂, and the distortion can jump up a few decibels when they use the effect.

I'm a punk...I decided to hold off on watching it until I'm at work with others around just in case the "rhythm is gonna get me", dig?

LOL

Literally the last 'scary' movie I made a conscious effort to see was "The Blair Witch Project". It was the BWP Part I and I went to the theater with a girl friend of mine and needless to say she and I ended up sleeping side by side that night. LOL. Although it was a psychological thriller (those tend to be the worst), after seeing it, I realized that I cannot handle watching any type of 'thrillers'. I am extremely sensitive to them and honestly, my psyche cannot handle it. I have also made it a point to no longer fall asleep with my TV on because if a commercial for a scary movie comes on, it melts into my subconscious and I will have a nightmare. It never fails. In the past when I would hear the commercial come on, I would jump right out of my sleep and search frantically for the remote to turn the TV off. The few times I did lay there and allow it to 'pass me by', deep inside of myself (in my spirit) I would become extremely uncomfortable and I would begin to pray (yes, I pray). It's usually worse with thrillers that have spiritual/religious implications/elements like "The Exorcist" or something.

Funny enough, as a kid I loved Poltergeist. "Look into the light" I remember when that little girl (her character's name in the movie was Carolann or something like that) died in real life from having all of those nightmares etc., of making those movies. I also believe that that's how Aaliyah went out (all that Anne Rice vampire shit). There are just some realms that you don't enter into.
