Some time during the week

I got hit by a car.

I was riding on the riverbed, and a driver saw me passing her way, but instead of yielding, like the driver she suppose to be, decided to gun it, and hit me. I never realized how far a person can go gliding through the air. Luckily, I had a backpack that broke my fall, so i rose with a bruise on my arm and leg. As i got up, i saw an elderly women in a mini-van who had hit me, and instead of getting out of the car, she drove off breaking a few laws and going against traffic in order to avoid me. I didn\'t care, as long as my body was still in tack, and my bike was working functionally, so i can complete my journey.

I manage to live through another journey, but I advice any of you who wishes to ride road bikes to purchase a helmet because that was the one item that had saved me from smashing my head against the floor.

Oh man, I'm really glad you're alright Sorti :/. Definitely agree about the helmet (as well as wearing seatbelts). Lately, I've been really wary of elderly drivers (you know, when my car isn't breaking down in the middle of traffic) because I've had a few close calls. Another fantastic week for us virgos.

Yeah, I\'m never riding my bike through that city, I find it highly dangerous, but ah well. I love to travel around the streets to find more trouble, hopefully none that will kill me! Yeah, I read about your car incident. You shouldn\'t worry man because you\'ll be back on the road with less problems. ;D

Haha yeah I know I'll be. Hopefully with a car that's better than before and ready to go. I miss riding my back. I was in a thrift shop today and so tempted to get one, or at least to get a pair of roller blades again. But, I'm definitely thinking about getting another back. I miss the rush and it'd be great exercise. Although, here in Northern Virginia, I'd have to be careful as well. We are abundant with horrible drivers 😄

Speaking of fantastic week, I am going to funk-fest on my birthday. It\'s going to be pretty badass because i went to one last week. My lady and i were getting down with the homies from that county, Long Beach county.

You know what, I recently found an article that stated \"virgos are positive regardless what people say\" and i laughed because i found it pretty true. We have our criticism, our cynicism, but if you think about it, we aren\'t being negative, we are only helping, not being negative. Shit talking and criticizing are so similar, but if you are smart, you can notice the difference. As for cynicism, I find it a great way to be rhetorical to get yourself out of a slump before becoming self-destructive.

I laugh when people state they dislike their sign, but I find it great because we can do anything... 😄

That\'s good man, here in california, people are at extremes. You are either extremely hygienic or you are extremely dirty, but I find myself to be in the middle 40% of the time.

Dude, you should get a bike, so you can get the hell off this place. I\'ve been riding my bike and doing more outdoors activities, and i\'ve been feeling far greater than what most people do.

Shit, people are always talking about buying 2000 dollars worth of car parts, but i find this to be the greatest thrill because you don\'t waste gas whenever you travel across counties.

Hahahaha. I just noticed I typed back... TWICE. I kept saying bike in my head. I do that sometimes. It's strange yet hilarious.

I'm definitely thinking of getting a bike when I go back to the thrift store and secure some funds. My college campus has a nice bike path and is nice sprawled out. The only reason why I'm on right now is because I'm procrastinating from doing some packing (which isn't much).

I agree that riding your bike is a great thrill. it'd be nice to have another mode of transportation besides my car. I haven't been to cali in a long time, but from what you said, I can believe it. hahaha.

I'm glad you're okay--and trust me, karma's as much of a bitch as she was for driving away. She'd better ask God for forgiveness for that...
