Oy vey

So my car broke down last night on the side of a highway during heavy traffic. Needless to say, it had been a very long night...

Life has really taken the piss on me lately, lol.

This also had me wondering (and prompting me to ask) how do you guys deal with being under pressure? I'll be first to admit that I don't deal with stress too well; I tend to completely freak out for a bit until I finally get my head one straight. Even though I may know what to do, I'm temporarily inconvenienced by my one small mental breakdown.

its easy for me being an air head i can detached my self and look at anything logical way.

well actually i have lots of air place ments and im a total drama queen lol

idk how to deal with stress if something like that happned to me iw ould have a total meltdown and be in hysterics

u just talk and cant shut up about it lmfao.

no u wouldnt have a meltdown u would need to about it with someone if that cant happened by any means let the meltdown happen lmao.

^Scorps that I know work extremely well under pressure and they crave constructive criticism...you cannot stop a Scorpio if they have ambition and goals. Maybe it's just a people thing, I know I would be alittle stressed out to have my car fkn up in busy traffic. People gawking at you &shi. It's just like "WTF else can happen...!" Hang in there C

So sorry Candeh. That is sucky. I just say "what doesn't kill me will only make me stronger" or "this too shall pass" and stuff like that. So, I guess to answer your question, I give myself pep talks and I try to focus on good things in my life when the bad stuff is happening so I don't lose my perspective and see that is only one or a few things in my life and not ALL of it.
Stay positive is what I do. Hope everything gets better for you honey!

So I learned today that my almost breaking down in traffic could have been avoided had the battery in my car not been the wrong model. What happened is apparently my mother's ex changed the battery to the wrong one when he still had it, and since it was wrong, the alternator had to work extra hard to power it. Thus, ending in a faulty alternator and a horrible battery. I'm just glad that my situation wasn't as worse as it was, like actually breaking down in the street or somewhere where there was nothing (police, reception, gas stations, ect). I'm really pissed at the guy now (as well as my mother) because it set it back like $ 600, and he got upset with my mother because she should have "brought the car to another place because it's possible she was getting swindled." Well, consiering I'm living on my own in a city 3 hours away from my mother, it doesn't seem that that's possible; and it wouldn't have happened in the first place if you hadn't changed the damn battery to something wrong and probably cheaper, you idiot...
